Chloe and Trigger will be together until the night but she will disappear while Trigger will go check on something, and so after reporting it to the archduke, he (archeduke) will be going on her research scared something happened to her since he knows that she would never runaway during his research he will meet with an old lady who seems to know where Chloe is and wouldn’t tell Alex bcs she is suspicious of him and to let her see Chloe he will say that he is her husband, and so the old lady will bring her to where she lives and both Chloe and Alex will get reunited. If you want I can spoil you more but I think that what is coming is too major and important to spoil you but this whole part is here to make the ml acknowledge of his genuine feelings for Chloe and will lead to more important thing in the future

Okk no problem ( just a disclaimer is that it’s been a while since I have read it so i apologize in advance if its a bit messy, since English is not my first language writing in English get a little bit difficult when I write long texts) (and also since I want to threat about a lot of thing in one message it’s not going to be as precise as the first one sorry)

After finding Chloe, Alex (the archeduke) will finally be relieved to see her but the old woman (that live with her nephew, sorry I forgot to mention is that the thing Trigger was checking on was a sound made by the nephew) will not let Chloe leave with Allen in the middle of the night so she tell them to stay and go back in the morning (which they will do and we get to see some lovely-dovey archduke and a flustered Chloe !!) before going the old lady give Chloe a book that she would like her to pass to Allen, and later on that’s what she will do, the diary happen to be Alex’s mother diary from her day as a young lady to her marriage and her last moment of her life at this moment Alex understand that this old lady is none other than his mother older sister and the last survivor of this maternal side’s family. While reading the diary he learns a lot of thing about his mother, sides of her personality that he never knew of but also the horror that was her married life, he will learn that he actually has an older sister that his mother think is dead bcs of the duke graham and finally how his mother actually loved him and see through this diary the love of a mother towards her son that he never though he could experience. This whole thing will lead to Alex finally being able to give word to what he feels for Chloe and will confess to her. Chloe will respond positively and for the next chapter in the novel we will get to see a cute couple interactions.
However Chloe don’t know how to put herself because she wants to be genuine with her feelings for Alex but also their social status that put a sort of wall in between them for her and finally Trigger. This will lead to the 2nd commander announcing to Alex that Trigger asked for Chloe’s hand and that he knows about her princess identity, bcs of this we gets to the part where Alex confront Chloe telling her why can’t he trust her that he loves her and how he will never marry no one but her and Chloe and the other hand that even though want to trust that she is so scared for this and how she thinks that Alex is too good for her. This confrontation will be the moment Alex calls her for the 1st time Beatrice and how he knew for months already about her identity this will lead to Alex telling a coachman to send a message to his father that he is leaving his position as an archduke and will go live with his loved one and so Alex drags Chloe with him and get away from the camp.

Here you go !! Those are the biggest spoiler I’m reallly sorry if the last part is kinda messy not understandable it’s just that I don’t remember in detail what happen. I don’t remember we’ll be the what happens next is their life as a couple and a lot of other stuff

I think he isn't royal blood. It was sth like the love of the emperor's life and the child of that relationship are held hostages by the silver haired guy and he asked for the change to fight for the throne.
