I think the story is going exactly like the author wants, from the beginning, she specified that ML was going to take a while to show affection to Kim Dan and now this drama happens to give rise to more feelings. I think it makes sense and I'm looking forward to the next chapter.
I don't mind a slow cook kinda story but Dan is straight up being abused! You can create an unaffectionate ML but after 45 chapters, you're throwing the birthday present you received on the ground and yelling like that? That's far from just unloving but hate imo

yes, its super duper slow. They kissed like at 200+ chapter, sex at 400+ haha. this manhwa focus 80% Fantasy/Action, and like 10% Politics, and 10% romance.
