Insecurity is real, and it can interfere tremendously with how you make every decision. We are outsiders and see everything objectively, but the people in this story cannot. Yes he had been confessing for months, but what’s there to guarantee that he hasn’t moved on? Suddenly he hangs out with this girl and even blushes when being with her (this is from Yuyang’s POV ok), why is it wrong to protect himself from getting hurt. Yuyang has just got out of a who-knows-how-many-year-long unrequited love. Give them time.
I’m saying this because I’m dating someone like Yuyang, and lemme tell you by the 2nd month we spent days and nights together but it took my gf 3 more months to finally confess, and that was only because I pressed her. She was in love with her best friend for 3 years and while they both said I love you to each other, she knows fully well it’s not the same kind of love. She thought I was going to be the same. Should I have ditched her because she was not making any progress? Of course not! My point is, we were given the extra chapter about them spending time with family so we know they will end up together and all will be well... just be more patient please┗( T﹏T )┛
It lacks mutual understanding, trust, and equal love, and consequently both people in this relationship suffer from that. I can’t believe 12 volumes later and the characters are still stuck here. Dudes, grow up and have a talk please. I’m out.
I agree, I remember reading the first 8 volumes in middle school and being really happy once I realized it would be continued! At this point, I've almost finished University and they are still stuck at the same tsundere-esque point in their "relationship". Kinda depressing...
