Someone please knock some sense into his cracked skull... a few readers, like me, have been giving him the benefit of doubt, waiting to see and find his redeeming point because we believe in people’s goodness. When I saw him with the ring, I thought maybe the distance would make him more gentle. And yet...
This is the first time I don’t like any MCs, yet still very much intrigued and attracted by the storyline and the storytelling itself. So much talent from Yeongha. Can’t wait to see how he/she gonna wrap up this mess.

I used to have such high expectation for this manga. How can you guys just go on and laugh like nothing happened???! Reminds me of a family in another manga whose members killed their father/grandfather under criminal’s pressure and after the criminal being gotten rid of (by someone else), they cover the place that old man was buried and continued their life as if nothing happened. That’s freaking cold blood. A lot of things don’t make sense. Someone was stabbed - and no investigation??? And that random scene with a child-like angel and a dude that I assume is God? The “friend” who randomly fucked Shion because he was offered him now talk about Shion as if he knows everything about him like a good friend? How about... rape?
Damn, that went downhill really fast.

Hi there, anyone knows where can I find raw for chap 12? TIA

Seems that the page was fixed? Anyway final frame of page 29 and page 30 chapter 12, the dialogue can be translated more accurately as “forgive me I have mistaken, but brother, did you feel lonely when your important person doesn’t want to reply on you?”
And the incomplete dialogue in page 26, Heronia was saying “My favourite rate has stopped growing; it must be that my followers have given up?!” Something like that. Sorry English is not my 1st language :p

I sometimes forget that Leni is barely 20. She was so young, and without guidance and a loving environment, she learnt how to survive from others around her. She appeared somewhat mature for her age for most part of this story, but in the last few chapters I finally see her for her real age, talking about worries and insecurities. Aren’t we all like that in our 20s?
Thank you, author and translator!

The character developments in NY-NY are amazing. Yes, Kain was an asshole. He was a closeted gay dude from Brooklyn that knew nothing but the gay people he had slept with. Remember, later he recalled of meeting Mel as falling in love at first sight, but at that very moment he was simply attracted to another guy he found at a bar, and didn’t know he would fall that deep. I’m not trying to excuse for his behaviours, but I like to think of him spending the rest of his life loving and caring for Mel as an atonement for having hurt Mel.
The best part and the unique thing about this manga is Kain’s parents. Marimo-sensei did a wonderful job showing their raw emotions in accepting their son as a gay guy and his male partner. It’s so much more common in yaoi genre when MC is given either very understanding and open minded parents, or extremely homophobic parents because those two ends of the spectrum are easier to depict. But Kain’s mother feels so real. I didn’t live in the 80s but I think how they reacted is befitting with the setting of the story as well.
Some drama could have been done less intense, IMO, especially the last arc (my heart hurt so much and I was screaming internally WHY DID YOU DO THAT TO THESE TWO PEOPLE WHY????) but overall it’s one of the greatest tales about LGBT+ ever depicted in manga world.
I see HuanHuan’s hand under YangYang’s shirt... I cry
