Doumeki is variant name for the dodomeki - the “thousand (hundred hundred) eyed demon”. Doumeki are sometimes said to be the ghosts of pickpockets and sometimes righteous female demons that steal from thieves.
The coins they steal become eyes on their arms. Chikara means “strenght” or “power”, so Doumeki’s whole name means “hundred eye demon power”.
