In suh is selfish yes, but he wasn't cruel on purpose to MC. I think MC was cruel to himself in a way, he chose relationships over his passion. Ofc In Suh was happy about that and because he was at a different point in his life (succeeding at his dream) compared to MC (trapped by family expectations) they stopped communicating. Now, Chan is a fine ML bc I can see him being supportive of dreams. In a way the current couple (MC and InSuh) are not supporting each other thus have missed out on a lot.
It's sad to see and my heart hurts because I am sure MC doesn't actually wanna dump InSuh, insuh is comfortable and he knows everything.
