Also, As a former trans with a big circle of "actual" trans friends, my interpretation is that Kei isn't and doesnt identify as trans. Possibly non binary but Kei is still at a very young age and it takes time for some to really figure out. As i mentioned earlier, as a former trans and with a lot of trans friends, i don't think anyone would or should be offended by this, as Kei at no point claims that they identify as any specific gender. Everyone is allowed to experiment and it shouldn't offend anyone that Kei is trying to figure things out or simply doesn't identify as a specific gender.everyone is different and genders don't always go.black and.white. sorry for spelling, am a little drunk

I agree with you on the characters exploring their identity. Actually I read a webtoon (from the webtoon app) which I kinda forgot the title which had a subplot about exploring a person's identity. The character at first identified as gay and came out to his family and friends prior to the story, they accepted him. Through the course of the story, he fell in love with a straight girl. His character arc revolved around him coming to grips about his own identity. To note, the character was I think of middle school age too so I think he is still discovering who he truly is at a young age. He was having a hard time because he wants to keep up his "gay" label to his family and friends who accepted him.
So yeah, I agree. People should have the freedom to explore while they can.
Personally, I am more pansexual when I try to describe myself to people, but honestly I just want to love how I want to live without being constrained by any labels. Lol
But I still hold kei and the others accountable for their actions regardless.
If started with rape rape rape more rape, then suddenly they're a big group of rainbow friends and rapist and victim are happy in love. Then suddenly some kinda plot happens and tbh at this point I don't like a single character.
This manga honestly feels like two friends did a roleplay and decided to make a manga out of it ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
like kengo was the only one that was actually okay for a little bit because he tried to help taiyo go back to normal ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
