The story is cute but the ending has so many things missing. It ended so abruptly. First, they said they'll get to know each other again and restart the relationship as if to set up an arc of what it's like in the beginning of their relationship. But then it's suddenly 2 years later. There was set up for a final arc but then nothing. There's no actual ending. I dont treat the final 2 chapters as an ending but more of an prologue/epilogue.
Like it would've benefit from like 5-10 more chapters at least. Or it would've been better to have a 6 months or less timeskip instead of going straight to 2 years.
I wonder if Moscareto or the series either:
1> got axed by company or by him (some authors do that if they're trying out stories but they don't want to continue it), or
2> meant to be a limited series - he has/had a couple going on at the same time after all, or
3> is exhausted and I hope he does get some rest of this is the case
He is one of my favorite manhwa authors so I song open that he has a new one in the pipeline since
it looks like Punch Drunk Love is reaching its ending (and I love love love this series)
I don't read smut for the moral lessons. If I wanted that, I'd read a bedtime story for kids or watch a Disney movie. There's a reason these types of stories are for adults only bc it expects an adult to be wise enough to differenciate fiction and reality, and think "I don't want this to happen IRL but this is interesting/enjoyable to read"
Why don't y'all just cancel people who enjoy watching slasher films while you're at it bc according to your logic, they're glorifying homicides. This is just the videogames cause violence argument agane. If you're so concerned about morals and ethics, why are you even using this kind of website?
I just feel pity for y'all who only consider wholesome uwu fictional stories the only story that should exist. That's such a boring way to live tbh. The great thing about fiction is being able to explore a story without having it happen to you ^_^
(ФωФ) Anyways, I'm glad both characters are hot here. I could never get into BJ Alex bc the bottom wasn't hot (imo) (。-人-。) Call me shallow idc if I wanted to read something for fun, I want all the characters to look like a healing elixir for my eyes (*‘ω‘ *)
I don't read smut for moral lessons either... But I can't figure out what is so enjoyable about reading a story about k-pop looking Andrew Tate and a pushover. Also isn't smuts point to at least having a fantasy of this happening to you or imagining how good it feels for the character, meantime the sex in this manhwa sucks , its only nice artstyle
The smut in this manhwa sucks because that’s the plot. Sexual assault and abuse are not meant to be enjoyable but some people are also into this type of thing which is healthy according to research. Don’t you also think the sex scenes have gotten better? Especially now that Dan is feeling it. Besides, this is only the beginning, we haven't gotten anywhere in the book.
I re-read some of the sex scenes and I noticed we don't even see Dan coming. Sex stops when the tops finish, it's not very sexy for me. There's a lot of abuse and assault stories like PoTN for example but at least there you can see the bottom fainting from pleasure, coming, Seungho touching him and making him feel good. I see the potential of the fantasy of "A sexy dominant man forces a character to cross the limits, shows him what feels so good" but Jinx ain't it xD
It’s about the plot development brother. In the recent chapters, Dan did cum lol that’s why he even made the point that it was different ever since that one water scene it’s about the plot development and I’m ngl that’s probably going to lead to some character development too. I also think there are a lot of people who have a cnc kink lol
I GET it's not a romantic relationship xDDD Where did I said "Romance"? In POTN example or ""A sexy dominant man forces a character to cross the limits, shows him what feels so good" example? Which one is giving that I expect romantic relationship? I'm literally saying it's bad porn, not bad romance
okay so since your mother obviously consumed alcohol while she was pregnant with you AND the fact it's obvious that you only posted this because someone said rape/sa shouldn't be glorified allow me to clarify something for your braindead ass. no one is saying that sfw stories with only sfw storylines and shit like that should exist, we're saying it's weird to view LITERAL FUCKING CRIMES as something that's all hot and romantic when it's not.
we would have never got here if people like you and all these other braindead motherfuckers didn't immediately go "oh it's just fiction" "it's just this" "it's just that" when this topic was brought up. the fiction excuse doesn't work here, sorry to tell you. i know damn well you wouldn't go up to a rape survivor and tell them they shouldn't get uneasy around media involving rape because "it's just fiction," now would you?
of course, enjoying slasher films does not make you a psychopath, a potential serial killer or anything of the sort. this is a ridiculous ass comparison. you cannot compare being a fan of slasher films to people painting rape as a sweet little hot sexy fantasy.
i recommend people like you seek out therapy and i hope to god one day someone checks your hard drive because based off how many of you are reacting this way, i wouldn't be surprised if there were a few films on your computer involving rape and other non-con sex acts.
"of course, enjoying slasher films does not make you a psychopath, a potential serial killer or anything of the sort. this is a ridiculous ass comparison. you cannot compare being a fan of slasher films to people painting rape as a sweet little hot sexy fantasy."
With all respect but why is it a ridiculous comparison? Both are controlled fear fictional scenarios. Comparing them makes sense.
We do have attempted murder survivors and family members/friends/lovers of people who were killed. I think they probably have the same opinions about fictional horrors.
I agree it's sick to romanticize rape and BL sadly makes it too often and makes it look like a not a big deal. A lot of stories with rape lacks trigger warning as authors doesnt even consider it abuse. But at the same time rape is a popular sex fantasy, especially for people who were shamed for their desires.
TL DR
Romanticizing rape = Bad
Making porn rape story with proper warning ahead = OK
Fictional killing is as fictional as fictional rape and people consuming those medias are able to say what is alright to do in real life and what is not
if people get triggered by those stories shouldnt even read them in the first place, also assuming stuff for others while lowering their intelligence of understanding pretty much the obvious. yea its fiction and thats why i come here to enjoy the art and the story. i dont come here to take everything literally.
Ok, sorry for misunderstanding then! I also understand their contract relationship but what is a point of making smut manhwa about such mid sex, but whatever. Just there's a lot of really pretty art manhwas like Plaything, Ghosts nocturne, Smyrna & Capri but i don't see people hyping those that much just for the art
it's a ridiculous comparison bc they're basically twisting the other person's words. if you're consuming a piece of media because it's a certain type of media you enjoy (fantasy, historical fiction, etc) and NOT because there's rape involved then ur fine, just like how slasher fans don't watch slasher films because people are getting murdered left and right. if you watch it PURELY because there's rape involved that's when ur weird. someone has already said that and that's how we ended up here.
I'm sorry but I disagree with you.
You are basically saying the same thing. It is a good comparison. How do you know slasher fans don't watch slasher films because they want to see people get murdered left and right? Isn't that the point of it in the first place? Isn't it horror? Isn't it fiction? So why not? Some people enjoy the adrenaline rush and the feeling of being scared in a safe environment. Others enjoy the thrill of being scared and the sense of excitement that it brings. Still, others may enjoy the opportunity to confront and work through their fears.
It's the same feeling with rape.
No matter the type of fictitious media you consume, as long as you can differentiate fiction from reality, then it's totally healthy and not weird.
You have no point here.
I'm sorry, you're braindead if you think there are people who look for slasher/horror movies wanting to watch it for a plot or characters. They watch those movies to see blood and guts flying around lol It's exactly the same thing and you're delusional.
And we already are getting trigger warnings for manhwas, movies, books. They don't say "THERE'S RAPE IN THIS STORY." but "This episode contains descriptions of sexual violence". It pop ups on even on Netflix[or Hbo cant remember] in the corner in the beginning of episodes... So I don't know why are you so pissed about it. I just said this warning should be post EVEN more often
The way it just swiftly transitions from tragic flashback to FWOP FWOP THWOP THRUST SQUELCH
(゜_゜)
SIRS???? In front of my uncooked ramen???
LMAO LITERALLY. dropped some crazy lore on us and then just shows them fucking like okayyy
