This story is clearly how men are privileged and women are made to fight against each other or hated upon each other.
I don't hate Helena neither like her. I just feel bad for her. She was tormented by the real Eris, played around by the prince and his mommy like she is a shiny doll, and the rest of the men just like her looks and think that since she is so weak looking she must need them for protection. (Hate to break it to you but she didn't ask you-)
Y'all saying that she needs to stop the crown prince from acting like trash towards Eris. Honey, but is that her fault that the crown prince already has a trash personality since the beginning? She should have done something to prevent crown prince from slapping Eris. Excuse me? But a mere maid with no power, money, status or whatsoever to go against a guy who happens to be the crown prince and the next king. That's like saying the president "f you" on his face.
She needs to stand up for herself as well as for Eris and needs to comfort Eris and stop the unnecessary hatred towards Eris. Yes, absolutely. But her self esteem is so fucking low. Girl, who can't stand for herself is going to stand up for another woman's injustice? I don't think so. Bruh she literally thinks it's fine and normal for her to abused by her mother(she was canned and her mother tried to harm her using a knife multiple times). She has also developed Nyctophobia because of the real Eris.
Gawd I hate her and she reminds me of Trashta? I just wanna know what was going on inside your head when you said this. Helena did literally nothing against Eris. And Helena NEVER dated the crown prince. That bitch is just going around abusing his authority and is one sided-ly flirting with Helena.
Helena should refuse or say no to crown prince and the empress and should rather focus on her maid work.
First of all, Helena is liked by the crown prince and his mommy because of her pushover personality. Now what would happen when the meek looking pushover commoner girl suddenly stands for herself? Yes, she is gonna be thrown out of the palace or worst case be imprisoned. Second of all, even when she tried to do her maid work and completed it the crown prince scolded the head maid for not sending Helena to him when he called and for giving Helena work. Like boy wtf is wrong with you? Unlike you, she needs to earn a living.
She should have not gone with the crown prince to the ceremony and not worn the dress. WHAT ON EARTH IS WRONG WITH Y'ALL? ERIS CLEARLY SAYS THAT THIS WAS A SCHEME OF THE PRINCE! And what ? She shouldn't have worn the dress? As I said before Helen cannot refuse authority and moreover she might have just thought as the dress as a gift. She should've not gone to the ceremony with the prince, like hey, couldn't you have said that the crown prince shouldn't have brought his crush to bomb his fiance's ceremony?
Y'all just hating on her simply because she always keeps crying. Bruh crying is natural. Atleast she doesn't shed crocodile tears and genuinely apologizes!!
I completely agree
Like there is a power imbalance between her and the crown prince and she definitely isn't the one in power. Like yes, it is kind of annoying that she doesn't do anything, but her actions are simply a result of the abuse she has had to put up with and of her environment.
She is as kind as she can afford to be while still taking her livelihood into account (at least subconsciously)
The crown prince is the trash here. She is pretty much a victim in a different sense than Eris. (they are both victims of that society)
Also, if people are hating on her more than the crown prince like... your misogamy is showing.
try fixing that internalized sexism, why don't you?
100% accurate
Tbh she would not only end up being imprisoned if she disobeyed the CROWN PRINCE and EMPRESS but she'll really be sentenced to death. Remember that in the history, the royalty have the ABSOLUTE power and for a mere MAID to go against their will, will be undoubtedly executed. And who even wish to kill themselves like that??? I mean— unless you really want to die then breaking a cultural practice is like jumping on an erupting volcano
THIS STORY HAS SA/R@PE.
