What I got from the raws is that both need therapy as they both had traumatic experiences.
First of all the top one is not bad and doesn't have ill intentions towards the bottom one.
When he was in school, he was an outcast and used to be bullied by some classmates (beating him and extorting money from him)
Gradually he made friends with some classmates in school but they were only friends with him for his money (i don't know if he is rich because from the pictures, he was always the one paying things for them) since he wanted to have friends. Those so called friends (i don't know if the friends he has now in college are the ones from back when he was in high school), he invited them to his house and they met the bottom one, when they were leaving said some things about the bottom one (i am pretty sure it was something mean since that's when they started showing some events (school) from his past, he got mad at them and slammed the door in their face.
well, I am pretty sure that the top one doesn't like people touching him (doesn't matter where) or I may be wrong. Maybe he slapped away the hand of one of his so called friends when he was trying to touch his arm because they were his high school friends... ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

Them being in their 20s fit with the barber's 4 years of experience and the office man's constant tiredness towards his job (he could still be getting used to his responsibilities) but yeah.. the protagonists do seem to be drawn as more mature men by the author, maybe that's her aesthetic
You may be right. The way she draws her characters must be her way to distinguish herself from other authors. I quite like the way she draws them because they are so unique and different from other drawings I've seen so far in the BL world.
