This has so much potential to be an amazing manhwa if there is no romance. The king is an incompetent jerk and no amount of sob childhood stories will make me like him. Him and the mistress both deserve to die painfully. Can someone spoil me and tell me if they get what they deserve?
Also something I despise with these plots is that the ML only behaves like a decent human being to women he finds f*ckable. I mean you donât have to be in love/sexually attracted with/to a woman to treat her with respect do you know this?

ch10 This is so good I canât believe itâs a manhua. Itâs so well paced and the characters were built very well. I love how the authors portrayed the little Sister as selfish and annoying by making her appear like the « good one », itâs a clever and not easy thing to do! So far so good, Iâm looking forward to this (=ă»Ïă»=)
The characters are freaking ridiculous. The MC has two moods: 1) my sibling is cute 2) omg hot murderer and the emperorâs whole personality is being a piece of trash ruler whoâs overly jealous and possessive of a girl he knows nothing about. Youâre telling me the girl is supposed to be the most valuable person in the empire b sheâs okay being disrespected literally the second she opens her eyes? Isnât she going to try to assert her authority or is her whole gimmick being submissive to whoever has red eyes and black hair? THE DUDE LITERALLY KILLED TWO DUDES IN FRONT OF HER AND HER FIRST THOUGHT WAS THAT HE WAS HANDSOME. Nah sheâs as trash as him, they deserve each other. Doesnât matter if thereâs little kids at home who wonât ever get to see their dad I guess. This isnât even about the story anymore. The character is out right selling us the most horrible characters ever but as long as theyâre good looking somehow theyâre good people. How much do I bet in 10-15 chapters we are gonna find out he has some tragic backstory like he lost his mom or his dad was abusive. God the whole pop storyline sounded so interesting, the romance is so stupid my brain cells are committing suicide one by one. The sibling story doesnât make much sense either but I didnât mind it. Iâll try to read it in case she finds out after marrying him heâs trash and decides sheâs gonna be the pope emperor and the story line becomes different. But letâs be honest. The title is âthe emperorâs companion.â This wasnât MCâs story to begin with.
Its annoying. This mc lady is supposed to be some high power executive. Why's she letting some bastard run over her physically and verbally. If they're talkong about rude shit the other side has done shit's gone down since the first few seconds! I call BS.

Right. The male lead makes no sense. If the author wanted him to be âcoldâ and âevil likeâ she shouldâve made a cold and tactical emperor. But a ruler who randomly kills people because âtheyâre enjoyingâ is obviously a freaking idiot whoâs either going to get killed by his revolting people or who is being controlled by hidden officials. I think author wanted to make the emperor look powerful and all but he just looks like an impulsive kid whoâs been given a sword. Not someone who can rule an empire, and certainly not someone who can love.

And I donât care about the whole « my sisters going to be a bad ruler so Iâll kill her before it happens. » if brother cared about the people so much he would try, at least TRY to reach out to his sister. Especially since she looked up to him from a young age, teaching her in a way that she cares about the people wouldnât be difficult. He doesnât even know anything about her besides the fact sheâs the royal heir, he never even tries to talk to her about the outside world. Instead he straight out believes heâd do a better job and him murdering his own blood is justified. Because he doesnât crave a better future for his nation - he craves power. EVERY ruler in history that assassinated others to reach the throne did it with the same mindset that they are the only one who will be able to rule properly the kingdom. Donât come @ me with the whole « sheâs naive about this world... no, I wonât tell her anything about it, Iâll just kill her and par myself in the back for it. » god the brother and his puppy bodyguard annoy me to no ends and I just know the author is trying to get us to like them which is a big no no for me... anyways I love this manhwa anyways and Iâll keep reading to see whatâs going to happen lol
Let me guess, MC is being controlled by everyone, is ignorant about the outside world, sheâs a naive puppy and we will have to wait for the intelligence and bravery of random male lead number one and random male lead number two to reach her about life and how to be a good ruler even though sheâs supposed to be a fxking Demi god above every mortal. Stg if this is it i wonât read it, either you make a strong female lead that can character develop without others, or a weak female lead that needs others to character develop. For some reason I canât stand it when strong female leads are treated as weak female leads by both the author and the other characters, youâd never see this with a male lead. The way the two other guys acted condescendingly towards just makes me want her to put them in their place though I know it wonât happen =.=â
I think she will have a character change and she will realize she's being manipulated and used we are in few chapters in since her dreams can change her future since she knows more of she could become and prevent it...
I freaking hate the teacher so much. MC told him countless times sheâs not interested yet he keeps acting like he owns her. Controlling her hobbies,âopinions, even the guys she talks to??? Heâs not even her friend. Heâs a teacher. If itâs not about sculptures he can go. I swear if MC ends up with him Iâll hate this so bad

No. The story painted him as an a-hole from the very beginning. But it feels like with the teacher, theyâre trying to make him look like a bittersweet lover when heâs an abusive pos. both suck. I only like the MC and her friend in this story.
