This is good, but the summary isn’t accurate:
When by chance she loses her way on the "Borderroad," she is forced to participate in deadly survival games with other female high school students.
Untrue. She doesn’t fight against other female high school students. She’s against random lambda people.
I liked border road, but not as much as borderland and borderland retry. I think it’s because the « game » was so unclear. I still have no idea why they all started killing each other all of a sudden. Also I don’t like it how they forgave that Kuki guy for murdering and raping girls just because he gave back those cards. Am I supposed to be happy for him?
I think in general I just didn’t empathise with any character so their deaths meant absolutely nothing to me. Except for one (I won’t say who ofc). The only guy we are supposed to care about tried to rape one of the main characters for rejecting him. I believe in rehabilitation even for people like that... but come on lol. Not before min 4 years in jail.
I’m sure some people will prefer border road. It’s a different style. To each their own. Thank you author for the journey.
This chapter is the proof, to readers and Psyche, that Iaros doesn’t love anyone, he simply loves power. Iaros doesn’t know the girls changed bodies, yet he went to Medeia’s palace and told her that he may have loved her if she had shown her weakness, despite Psyche still being his wife and resting in her own palace. He is cruel and can’t stand having anyone on his level or above, he is a narcissist who thinks he deserves to be at the same level as god.
Wait why are people mad at Psyche again? She’s literally traumatised she was severely abused or do you think that victims of abuse just « get over their feelings » once they got away from a toxic relationship? She’s heartbroken her love isn’t real and the end of the chapter is basically the prince telling Psyche he never really loved her he just loved that she was weak. Right now I love Psyche as much as Medeia and I’m sure she won’t disappoint in the future
I’m just so disappointed at Cha Hae In’s personality I feel like she’s so bland and only exists as a character for the MC :/ I hope they develop her personality because it would be such a waste to have just another “fake strong female protagonist”. Other than that Sung Jin Woo is awesome as always (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
Ya exactly. Just another female toy for the MC to play with. All the male characters are thoroughly developed but the female characters are always just blushing and shy around Sung JinWoo except for his sister and mom. Which you know - I can understand lol. But come on give us some more material to work with
I don’t know why they tried to make the teacher a victim LMAO. He took a vulnerable, runaway teen in a motel, kissed her and even had sexual fantasies about her: then he made it sound like she was a villain temptress who pushed him to do this. A good person would’ve taken her to the police, a youth refuge, a friend, he could’ve even called his wife and asked for her help. But certainly not a motel and let all that lingering sexual tension with a 15 year old. Also how many times did he stare at her boobs before it happened ?
He deserves everything he got. He didn’t rape her that’s true, but everything he did is still illegal, and grooming. He deserves to loose his job, wife and reputation. He took advantage of the worst situation in that teenage girl’s life because he was horny and then blamed it all on her. Keep crying.
None of these men are to be pitied. The author wants to make the female protagonist sound like a whore who deserves the disgusting, sexual assault she suffers in the end (which is awful, regardless of anything she could’ve done). But actually, she was surrounded by shallow, predatory men who couldn’t care less about her well-being, and only wanted to take advantage of her- so she in return took advantage of that. She was a broken individual and kept meeting the wrong people, yet she kept the upper hand. She wasn’t perfect and she isn’t a hero - but to try and make her on the same level as those men is laughable.
