Guys. Guys. Guys. Dan-i is traumatized from her whole experience of being put into a literal alternate dimension. She is anxious because of all the rumors surrounding her. And she is depressed because of how people always judge her for hanging out with yeoryong and the kings. Y'all really expect a traumatized, anxious, and depressed person to fight back? Honestly if I was her, I would just give up. And that just shows how strong dan-i is for not giving up.
I like how everyone's mad at dan-i for taking the bullying and not fighting back. It's like they forget what would happen if she actually did fight back: they'll think she's fighting back to hide something or deny what they're saying. And this chapter is what would happen if she didn't fight back. Either way, she loses. Of course she won't know how to defend herself. That's why her friends are there to help her. There is nothing wrong with her friends helping her. It's better than her being totally isolated like other fl's in other Mangas. And for those people who are impatient about her character development, she is literally going through it right now. There's a reason for all of this conflict. Like bruh what did you expect? For her to change in like 3 chapters? That's not how it works and you all need to be patient with her. She's going through a lot right now. She's basically depressed, traumatized, and anxious 24/7 and yall really want her to fight back?
I agree with this. Imagine being in her position. Many think “I’ll stand up for myself and throw fists” but what if the whole school had something against your without a proper reason? People throwing ugly glances at your way, spreading false rumours etc. It makes you insecure and sometimes paranoid. Yes, sure you can stick to the Foue-Heavenly-King’s, but isn’t it better to become independent? Why always cling to the same people, when there’s no hope for them to stop?
It’s like an ongoing loop. Something has to break the loop, and Dan-I has to find a way out, so that she isn’t dragged everyone.
I'm single af and this chapter reminded me of that fact
