This is where the story goes downhill for me, ra*ist mf, don't think therr was any reason to have that and then just continue. Like you expect us to just forgive his ass, how does the uke feel having to see the scar on the guys face every day and remind him of the event.

Zhong was the youngest candidate to pass the imperial exam.. But as a slave he lost the right to take the exam or any job ever again.. Yu Ziyou actually released Zhong Wan from slavery.. But Zhong Wan left his slave documents to him..

Emperor sent his dead brother's children to the border.. So Zhong Wan escaped to take care of them.. To relieve poverty and get some bribe he spread the rumour that he was Yu Ziyou's lover..

Yu Ziyou was actually the Emperor's son.. so he was drugged by his fake father (his mom's husband) for seven years and thus has a nasty temper.. But unlike any other motherfucker princes in other stories, Yu Ziyou is very tolerant to others..

He has a self-harming tendency, but never took it out on others.. One of my most liked royal character whatsoever.. Anyway Zhong Wan is back to the capital now.. He was already poisoned by his adopted brother Xuan Rui.. That's why he is so weak now..

That mf is a switch (he can be dom or sub but apparently he has been following the instructions from the books to be a correct dom because he refuse to take commands as a sub) So he lock uke for who knows how many days and although they didn’t show it, he abused him… the doms ml friend is a proper dom so he seats that mf in his chair, I also hope he ripped his ass without a safe word in chapter 7 :)

I read the translated novel years ago. The novel was quite enjoyable from what I can recall. Seeing the novel turned into manga form is a pleasant surprise.

Him wanting to see how min would act jealous while he is completely aware of how min's ex partners were toxic and how min learned to not show his jealousy (in ways that would hurt himself) isnt ok
I know where hyun's trust issues are coming from and its 100 valid
But trying to do a "it's your turn to suffer " thing isnt going to help their relationship at all

Min has learned he should "keep his lover happy, do whatever they want,never say no , don't pray on their life ,dont ask too many questions and just hope they'll stay"
he knows this isnt ok but you cant change over night just because you finally got the right person

Hyun exactly knew what he was getting himself into and he knew their relationship still needs time and communication to get better
Patient is what's needed here...he should give min time to give him back all the love he deserves , for all the time he loved and waited for him
But not this way not like this
