Luke is a very articulate and good communicator, it’s just too bad I hate whatever tf he’s saying— he is absolutely being naive, greatly need him to tune down all that optimism bc something is telling me it won’t be what cost him but what cost others instead...

Like wow!!! Who would have known the same country allowing states to pass “Don’t Say Gay” bills, the same country having majority of our NATIONAL legislators & PRESIDENT spread a notion of queer people indoctrinating the kids, and the same country with a ACTIVE case progressing up to the supreme court that could potentially reverse gay marriage isn’t an easy space for queer people (or in the context of this. mlm couples) to exist! UWU ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ
I truly hate to come off as rude, but as someone who actively lost a research assistant opportunity for a lab studying HIV treatments in gay men of color, only for it to be ripped away because all of the funding got cut due to it focusing on equity and diversity… the comments are just annoying me SO so bad. You guys truly overestimate the social progress of this country and how that progress can quickly be reversed.
