Yah, that's how I remember it too. Any leftover feelings Claude could've had for Jeanette's mother would be overridden by his love for his daughter's mother I'm sure. He seemed to seriously care for her, even risking the black magic situation to see her/save her.
Claude never love Jeanette mother, they just politically engaged, when Claude saw her sleeping with his brother he didn't even blink an eye. Claude only ever love Diana/Athy mother, he never even touched any woman in his harem, it was Diana who stubbornly reach out to Claude no matter how many times he push her away.
