I dropped this a while ago, because I couldn't differentiate between the two long haired dudes, that looked like twins, and shit got confusing. Is it worth picking this up again?

Yeah, the confusion got settled, see the two blondes weren’t twins just one was nux an original vampire using the others appearance pretty much if a character that isn’t fancy turns fancy their nux. Now nux is the doctor, but the difference is bigger. Though, they did explain it in the story the differences before they even had to make a chapter about it, however, it’s just getting to the good part, it’s totally worth reading!(▰˘◡˘▰)

Thank god he had no boner! I am so sick of seeing rape scenes, were the uke seems to feel pleasure along the way... I think the author did a pretty good job here showing that there is nothing sexual or romantic about rape.

Tbh they had more subtle ways of showing that since they also showed an example of accidental arousal during sexual assault too (the forced handjob scene between nakyum and seungho). Nakyum did have a boner then but he was clearly scared. I agree it’s nice to see a mangaka really show the true root of rape. I liked how they showed the power aspect of rape both when Na kyum was aroused and when he wasn’t. Either way they made the wrongness of the act clear enough I suppose.

Yea that’s a pretty harmful misconception that makes rape victims ashamed of accidental arousal even tho it’s a much more common occurrence during rape than people think. I get OP tho, yaoi mangakas do use the arousal to victim blame the bottom and excuse the rape.
It’s the worst fucking pattern in yaoi which is why Nakyum holding SH accountable for assaulting him.
Doesn’t matter rather the bottom is hard or not it’s still rape, what matters is if the author is decent enough to make the context realistic. Harada’s pretty good at that imo.
People here say the plot is too "simple" or is dragged. But I think it's not simple, it's realistic. Things take time in real life. The story dives into the characters' minds and deep feelings. I prefer this kind of almost psychological story over a lot of other yaoi out there. Some of you are just unpatient and clearly don't know the times before webtoons, where the readers had to wait for months and years for a new chapter and development. :D
Agree agree
I usually avoid reading the comments because I don't need that kind of negativity in my life. (▰˘◡˘▰) I adore this manhwa and the characters and nothing all y'all say is gonna change that. I'm with you - I really enjoy character driven stories... and I'm a sucker for problematic, toxic characters. So Love or Hate is like my holy grail.
I agree with you
