y’all know there’s some real character development here when Endeavour actually saves someone, not only because it’s (generally) his job, but because he actually cares. Not only did he protect his son, who he basically disregarded the majority of his life, but he protected the pomeranian.
you know he cares when he protects the explosive pomeranian.
I think he was actually rattled this time because he went to reassure himself that the pretty much saved hostage (his son) was alright first instead of giving priority to neutralizing the threat and taking out the villain.
This was so adorable, so all that weird shit in ch. 2 had me shook lol
