while i admit hes cute, i cant say i have high hopes for this arc due to the likely student x teacher especially since he seems to be raising him too…. yikes

I read the novel and that part made me feel iffy too but they talk about it and it gets resolved and it’s not going to be the trigger of a lot of angst dw!

god, i never do this usually but i just need to rant about this for a second.
this manhwa and story is a whole mess.

idk how to feel about mc and the love interest, theyre cute ig but also the moment they get any development for their relationship the author cut away. great.
i also just didnt really warm up to any of the characters much so far. there are way too many jumps inbetween scenes and storylines that it is hard to get atatched to any of them in my opinion.

on ANOTHER note theres a lot about the second couple that just rubs me the wrong way...
lets start by talking about the most important issue really: gyujin just keeps getting sexually assaulted/raped and its not talked about. he still didnt tell anyone about it and the manhwa itself also doesnt acknowledge it happening as something traumatic or just anything of importance at all, which is just weird way to go about it and doesnt sit right with me. also there was no warning for the noncon given beforehand, neither in the chapter itself or the description of the manhwa and i really hope no one got triggered because of that. while i do understand not mentioning that aspect in the summary of the plot, since it is a side couple, this brings me to another issue ive had with this manhwa so far.

namely: why does the side couple get way more development and plot than the main couple ever did? whats going on with that?? the main couple got the 5 dates plot with them both having pined for each other for years and then also kinda the writer plotline with the mc and eventually the movie im assuming. meanwhile we got a ton going on with the supposed side couple. there is the whole conflict with the other model dude trying to fuck gyujin and raping him and then even going as far as drugging him and doing it AGAIN to punish him for defending himself the first time around. and that entire plotline isnt even close to being resolved since it also ties into the whole "thinking the other is cheating" conflict and gyujin didnt tell anyone about it happening so far. then theres also the student who tries to get with green hair dude (forgot his name). outside of that (which would be enough plot for a side couple already) there is also the long haired man who saved gyujin and will probably be important in the future too, the entire background story of gyujin thats currently getting revealed with the old dude, and to top it off we got hints of them breaking up due to gyujin admitting he doesnt feel as much for his boyfriend anymore as he did in the past AND long hair man telling him to let him know if they break up.
there is just obviously way drama given to the side couple in comparison to the couple it should be focused on and theyre getting at least and equal amount of focus in the story so far. it just seems misleading to only mention half of the actual focus of the manhwa in the description, especially since a lot of the main couples themes are way more serious and angstier than the description makes the manhwa out to be and it will not be everyones cup of tea.

also another thing i didnt like was the side couple starting to have sex in the mcs bathroom all of the sudden? it was so random and off idk but thats not the biggest issue im having.

anyways, idk yet if i will spend any more time on this since i dont like the side couples story line at all and its getting sm focus. probably am going to keep watch on the replies over here to figure out whenever the main couple will get further development because i am interested to at least see their current conflict resolve.

also if anyone reading this did enjoy any of the aspects i criticised thats fair and good for you, it just really aint for me. have a nice day
