I like seeing the vulnerable side of the guys. I like seeing their O faces and lose themselves to their desires. I also think that the sex is...prettier(?) then the hetero smut. I’ve read enough yaoi to know what I like and which artists to follow. While there are dominating and bad guys in Yaoi, or straight up rapists (looking at you Yahwi), I don’t like how the females are portrayed in the hetero smut. They are portrayed as stupid, naive, and nymphos who give in to their men. In the good yaoi, at least most of the characters are not naive.

I want to add that a lot of the yaoi is written better than shoujo/jousei stuff. Maybe I’m just reading the wrong stuff though
