I don't know if I get this right but, the childhood-friend-Jiu, he was not sent to the world of the army-Jiu? He was sent to a different parallel world where he met a girl version of Tokiwo, have a relationship and get her pregnant(?) But suddenly he was sent back to his 'original world' when army-Jiu was also sent back. After 8 years of trying the childhood-friend-Jiu and amry-Jiu was able to go back to the world they were first sent in, maybe it was the reason why childhood-friend-Jiu's wife said he 'abandoned' her. But only the author knows how the hell did they managed to go back to that 'parallel world'. (⊙…⊙ )
But I don't really get the logic behind the long-hair-girl-verion Tokiwo that they met in the manga, and that of Jiu that gave the ball to Tokiwo. They said that army-Jiu was from the egg cell of the long-hair-girl version of Tokiwo, doesn't it mean that Jiu and Tokiwo are blood related one way or another? I AM VERY CONFUSE RIGHT NOW
Yes, long haired Jui did not go to military Jui's world. It was briefly mentioned that all the Jui's were dropped into different worlds at the age of 6 and were living blissfully unaware until they were suddenly brought back at 18 because of girl Tokiwa's actions. So basically, long haired Jui went back to his true world and met the Tokiwa he was originally supposed to be with. But when military Jui went back to his adopted world, all the Jui's (including long haired Jui) were sent back to their adopted worlds. They eventually found a way back to their true worlds after 8 years.
Ball Jui dropped into girl Tokiwa's world at age 12. They fell in love, but ball Jui was being rejected by that world. He had to return to his adopted world. Girl Tokiwa then worked extremely hard to figure out a way to travel across the realities to find him. I guess her work got her labeled a terrorist? Ball Jui gave the ball to toddler Tokiwa as a way to find teenage Tokiwa, who would be with girl Tokiwa. How did he know this would work? No idea.
It also seems that only military Jui and girl Tokiwa are related by blood. None of the other Jui's and Tokiwa's are related.

Glad I could help. A lot of things were just sort of thrown in at the last moment so it's easy to miss important plot points.
Apparently they were originally from that world them when they were six they were switched or a little bit younger and you know when you’re young you kind of don’t remember when weird shit happens you’re like OK whatever you have like a few weeks where you’re like messed up and then everything goes back to normal I think that’s what it is but does that mean he was having the army-j having sex with this other person for like eight years and whatever or did he just like leave them in the other guy appeared somewhat Earls when her with his life trying to go back to his dude that’s when I am confused about because how much time did they really spend in that what the fuck was happening thing that was before when they were confused about who belong to wear or where they sent right away and if they were what the fuck did he cheat what happened They did take a long time for them to be sent back and that’s when he got a girl pregnant and they develop the relationship enough to them to want to get married （/TДT)/ (〜￣△￣)〜(￣∇￣") ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

This is so pure. I LOVE THE STORY. Ruri-chan's so pure, adorable, cute, fluffy and all. Tooru act so mature, but still has a childish side. I love how the author showed how the relationship between the two build up and how they affect each other's life unconsciously. It was not rush, at least for me. THIS IS A MASTERPIECE. The ending is also satisfying. It's wholesome, so ecchi scenes are not so important, but still, thank you for including that sensei.
