Yeah i started from the beginning, you can skip a few filler chapters that make up the anime, but there are sidestories you'd be missing out on etc.

Yeah. The hendrickson fight was pretty similar, but before that nah. I know the feeling, I was like that with Kuroshitsuji and regretted.
