I see that differently, I do think that kloff took revenge by making him suffer but also couldn't stop his feelings for aeroc which made him despise aeroc even more. hating and loving someone at the same time is a very difficult emotion which kloff couldn't handle.

the story seems to be a mess, it doesn't really make sense for the ml to not remember the mc at all unless it's the amnesia trope. the dialogues are a bit unsatisfying as well though maybe the official translation will make it sound better but so far this webtoon seems to be mid.
