oh wait lol scratch that. maybe the reason he was angry is because he was supposed to be his mate(like a planned mate and not a soul/destined mate) ... like an arrange marriage like they were supposed to become mates or something in the future but Seolhyun doesn't know he's a female and this "brother" was the mate that the Lycan master thought of pairing him up with since he's also a pureblood.

Yes that adds up in my head too. Originally I thought that the brother was the female and that seol was pretending to be the female to get with hwa. So this last chapter threw me off because of how the brother reacted to hwa’a scent
