Honestly they’re both at fault. Yeah Hara chan is an idiot and shouldn’t have been/slept with other girls while also sleeping with Ume, but Ume also slept with other guys. They had been together for 20 years and it was just the norm for Hara Chan that they’d always be together and he was just too oblivious to realize what Ume meant to him until he discovered Ume’s relationship with Mori. But like Mori said, Ume never really explained to Hara chan the depth of his feelings and how it hurt him whenever Hara chan was with someone else. (Probably because he didn’t want to risk losing their friendship.) All in all they’re just two idiots that love each other! A stupid couple. ╮(￣▽￣)╭ The story really tugged at my heart strings and if a story can make me feel for the character then it’s a great one to me.
