Ahhh, this one is more wholesome tho: http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/mayoke_no_darling/
Can some of yall give me some reasons why i should read this manhwa despite reading comments say that its insane and the like? Been seeing its popularity out of mangago and i never thought of reading it cuz of its eerie atmosphere and the title oof- like is violence in there and other forceful shit
personally, i wouldnt recommend it for anyone to read just because of how triggering and horrible of a story it is. its extremely well written, which is the thing that makes it very disturbing for readers,,,,,, id give it a shot if u like reading about murderers/kidnappings though since once again, its extremely well written and major props to the author
Because its Amazing, it has a original plot and the caracthers are great. They both have some mental problem which is making the realationship kinda unhealthy and i think that is a big Reading why people hate it because its “toxic” but i personale think is great to have some yaoi which isnt like other stories. So i think you should give it a try is one of the stories who have left a hugge impact on me and one of my farourits. But its a story were you Ether love it or hate, but i would recommend it and think alot of people hate on it because they didnt like it and maybe Got annoyed over other People Loving it so much ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Yeah, I am often bothered that it is called BL/Yaoi just because there is a homosexual relationship in it. I would strictly categorize it psychological thriller.
But yeah, I agree that it is quite well-written. What makes it a good writing for me that it is not just a psychological horror that is arbitrarily made gay just for the sake of appealing to Yaoi readers. The romantic involvement of the two lead characters works in multiple dimensions and it is written quite well into the storyline.
Since the OP hasn't read it, it doesn't make sense to give specific examples but basically, it brings another dimension to the psychological pressures faced by Bum. He is already a very insecure person and I think he believes that the fact that Sangwoo is into him makes the story of his kidnapping even more unbelievable. So he is even more reluctant to get help. And then there is also his history of sexual abuse.
Anyway, it is a heavy read and although I like it, tbh I never really understood why it is so popular ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
It is just a really good psychological horror/thriller.
There really isn't much BOYS LOVE there. If fact there isn't any love.
But if you like psychological thriller, fked up stuff but like still really good, you should give it a try.
It also grasps the psychological state of the characters so well.
But you still have to be cautious, it is honestly a really good read, especially if you like complicated characters, but it is quite violent.
And don't listen to what people say, the ending is what made Killing Stalking ~
im a weak bitch when it comes to psycho horror and i was rlly just curious how there was yaoi involvement in there along w its popularity. So the fact that the storyline actually made sense in interpreting it is all good n all but i think i have to agree that they should tone down the yaoi label a bit? Since im one of dem curious yaoi readers (but def not into forceful violence) anw, thanks for lmk
Well all in all, it is still just a comic. Read a chapter or something if you don't like it, then drop it, no need to think this hard about it. Ain't no university essay to write at the end. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
If you like psychological thrillers and horror , Give it a try.
Honestly even if you don't and just like complexity, well built characters, and good plot and art, you should too.
If you like, say, strictly fluff, then...probably not why I would recommend, that story has baggage.
Also, for example, "An Uncomfortable Truth" isn't tagged BL/Yaoi because it's simply not one. I am sure there are other manhwas like this where the story revolves around a homosexual relationship/attraction but the overall vibe doesn't fit into BL/Yaoi category. I think KS should be considered as one of such manhwas too.
It could be a marketing strategy on Lezhin's part that is creating this misunderstanding.
Also, for example, "An Uncomfortable Truth" is not tagged Yaoi/BL because... well, it is not one. I am sure there are many other psychological thrillers where the story kinda revolves around a homosexual relationship/attraction but they don't really fit into the Yaoi/BL category, but "An Uncomfortable Truth" is just one that popped in my head. I think KS should also be categorized as such.
Perhaps this was a (clever?) marketing strategy on Lezhin's part, as KS probably reached beyond the typical psychological thriller audience because of that. Well, I guess as long as people are aware of its dark content, it doesn't matter. If you think about it Yaoi/BL being a genre is such a strange thing anyway. I guess what I am trying to say is, if Yaoi/BL was not called Yaoi but was something like "LGBT Romance" instead, no one would call KS that.
May the kind angels pick this up, thankyou *bows*(▰˘◡˘▰)

bl/yaoi (not sure) its abt a good looking guy who works QA with a fujoshi officemate. Ppl knows that he's gay but doesnt go for ‘any‘ guy. Then he was tasked to assist or guide a newcomer working on programing or proofread was it? This seme got long bangs, good build, quite tall, and always hid his handsome face (forgot the reason) which turned out to be the uke's type but told him to not worry as he doesnt just go for anyone. Then ended up liking each otherrr.
would very much appreciate anyone’s help
Y’all how do you get a manga to be noticed and serialized? Like after maybe 13years since it was released? ( ̄∇ ̄")
See, i read this manga once back in 2015 and was closing the end but i never actually finished it because i had a fear of “being afraid to finish the manga and come to an end & enter the what-now-phase,” and since then been wanting it to be an anime just like most of the readers who came across it. So growing up, i came back to it out of memory of it being an “underrated golden manga” and feeling of it wanting to be serialized just came back all over again.
So long story short, (even though its still long) the manga is ‘DENGEKI DAISY’ AND YES I KNOW MANY PPL STILL WANT THIS SERIALIZED!!!!! and for those of u who dont know this, please do take the time to read it for u will not regret it if ure into a unique story of drama-romcom genre that is not something so ordinary (at least for me).
I mean, im happy n all with all the yaoi i’ve been reading since shoujo mangas dont really catch my attention with all the moe going on, but this is rlly worth the time and a good break from all the shounen-ai and yaoi. I just hope that there would be some kind of miracle like ‘GIVEN’ where it got an anime unexpectedly, i mean it was the happiest moment in my manga-reading life.
And seriously though, considering the content; gag-wise, i believe people would get hooked too, even the plot like wth man, a phone?? Hackerss?? Mysterious death? Cmoonnnn theres more to it unlike other animes or shoujo mangas filled with moe (forgive me for being bias ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭) but yeah thanks for taking the time to read this, but thats the point i just honestly wanted to point out, even if i know there are dozens of mangas out there who better deserves to be serialized, i just wanna look at the tiny possibility of this manga being an anime out of my own selfishness (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
So, y’all know any way around this?
yall got any good shou ai suggestions, one with an actual plot & not v cliche? Preferably a long read too. Need the fluffs while waiting for Sem Error to update
