Imagine a manga ongoing for 9years
oh wait- here it is ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
No hate, its just that i’ve been reading this since 2015 and altho we sometimes get the feeling of not wanting a manga to end, this one rlly just gets me impatient wanting to know the rest of the story and the crazy amount of time it takes to update is just insaaaannneeeee, jeez...
And overtime the excitement/anticipation just fades yknow?
i still love em though
& im just ranting, pardon
ya, both authors (Ouke no Monshou and the Glass Mask) I guess have become unmotivated so they've been mostly on hiatus during these past 40 years. They leave and come back and leave and come back and so on. They don't bring a close to their stories because they made the stories inherently low paced and so they're nowhere near ending. Also, their manga were pretty popular back in the day (both are award winners for best shoujo) so perhaps that makes them want to not give it a shitty ending. I feel like they're going to die before they finish though and then we'll be left with unfinished works : Ya don't think about it much but dying before being able to read the last chapter of a manga you love is a real threat (TToTT)
So yeah i actually went and checked them a bit and yeah the mangas do look pretty old huh. Would never want to imagine dying before the manga, but like unless theyre dropped in the middle of it, that also kills like koi nante shinai!! Kinda makes me feel like my complaint abt this manga is invalid now ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I just hope the author finishes this and other incomplete mangas with slow update before the world ends us lol
I rlly like how the author focuses most of her work on some real life situations like with what she did with hishakaishindo too. Since in reality guys dont ‘easily’ fall for another guy just because one of them do. Usually turns out being one sided, but in the end, she (ofc) makes it possible for the yaoi world just that with the allowance of how things would actually turn out irl sometimes <3
been waiting for author’s other work and god do they not disappoint!
it fucking sucks, and the fact people dont realize that when realizing people arent straight and like another guy (specifically their freind) its torture. it was literal one-sided torture for 3 years, the constant beating yourself up for it isnt exaggerated, rather underexaggerated in yaoi shit. td;dr being gay for your friend as a guy is hell at first
wait, is it usually normal for a male actor to give another male actor a bouquet in the industry? (i mean disregarding the fact that they're gays etc)
IDK about here in the states but in Japan and Korea if its someone you worked with for a long time and you admire their work then yes, it is normal. I think it is more common when they are also older and have had more experience in the field since it is like saying "thank you for working with me and giving me guidance"
as an architect student, i already admire Asahi so much (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
