I decided to read this manhwa after reading the “Bye Bye” manhwa- which is written by the SAME author!!- and it’s giving me whiplash!!! The “Bye Bye” manhwa was so wholesome with a strong and fearless MC and a kind-hearted, patient, gentle ML… Meanwhile this manhwa is so toxic and has a weak-willed, anxiety-riddled MC and an evil, abusive, r*pist ML. It’s a really crazy jump.
I thought since it was written by the same author, it was gonna be just as wholesome as “Bye Bye”, but I guess the author wanted to go a different route with this one. Well, I guess it’s time I part ways with this manhwa, ‘cause I hate stories with all angst and no comfort (and irredeemable male leads).
If anyone knows a manhwa with this same plot but is way less toxic, pls let me know
Im so glad the people in the comments here are somewhat normal cuz I totally agree with you… but idk if you’re on BL twitter but literally the people on there will defend abusive toxic rapist semes to the death and it always blows my mind cuz sometimes I’ll even see them blaming the bottoms and when they have a redemption they arc they’re like omg he’s the best character ever and do deep analysis about why he’s like that and I’m like ????? So wild to me

Oh I guess it was a glitch for me it looked like it was listed under “Artist’s other works” when I was reading Bye Bye. Lmao my bad! Still.. I don’t like how this story was recommended to me after reading Bye Bye considering the drastic differences between the two stories lol
