I'm learning Japanese and it's my first time studying something so different from the other languages that I'm used to learning (English, French). I feel lost every lesson and yesterday anything I've tried to say seemed like a tongue twister. Which makes me wonder if one day I'll really able to speak Japanese without having a daily practice..............   1 reply

I (24F) have a big nose. Since I was a kid I feel that whenever I touch on the subject "my nose" the automatic response from others always revolves around something like "Oh! But you are beautiful! Don't worry" or "It's not so big, actually I think it's cute!" Which made me create the (dumb) idea that big nose = ugly. Leaving aside the trauma and ......   1 reply

My friends call me "dede" the same as the username here (.❛ ᴗ ❛.) A random thing about me... I (24F) write better on a 90 degree angle (?) otherwise my handwriting gets ugly. A random experience... I once joined a job that made me take some shifts at a local beach (biologist here yay)... in one of those shifts, I realized that I had forgotten......   reply
