"dark shin" is him thinking of what would be the most practical for himself/putting himself first versus (what he does rn) putting the king first, wanting only the best for wolfang bc of his love for him which causes shin more work and fatigue

hope the mangaka makes the decision soon, either make jeanette turn to the dark side due to her selfishness to find validation or make her get a redemption ark by getting a brain. her one dimensional state of being naive and stupid ever since her character was introduced is getting boring and annoying to read.
i totally agree. but the manga is based off a korean novel that is already finished. the mangaka is just dragging it out and i don't know why. when it comes to adaptations from one medium to another you naturally have to cut things out for pacing reasons but they seem to be really slow about it...
yeah i heard that the mangaka is changing things up quite a lot from the novel, and i don't think that's a real smart move. my blood pressure rises whenever i read this manhwa lol but the art is so damn nice so i'll keep reading ig
