The fact that we have to wait for a month for another chapter just makes me sad, I want to see more of Mafuyu and Uenoyama's relationship, let's face it wasn't really featured that much but we are waiting for them to at least appear for a little in a panel together.
As I understand this manga more, I don't think this could be considered as UenoMafu as the main ship imo, I think YukiMafu is really the main tea here. Everything revolves around Yuki, and Mafuyu wouldn't meet Uenoyama if it wasn't for Yuki's loss and Hiragi wouldn't get in touch again with Mafuyu if it wasn't for Yuki. I just hope by the end of this manga, the three ships here UenoMafu, AkiHaru, and ShizuHira will be able to find their resolves and happiness by the end. I didn't experience what Yuki felt but I know how much he loves Mafuyu and seeing him happy is all that he wants.
I'm looking forward to more AkiHaru, ShizuHira, and especially UenoMafu contents <3 I'm not a YukiMafu shipper but I'm not a hater either, I'm neutral and I acknowledge Yuki as someone who pushes Mafuyu to who he is now, same goes for Ue-cchi they're both parts of Mafuyu's life and the witness in Mafuyu's development and growth. Ue-cchi might be naive in some parts unlike Yuki who knows Mafuyu really well without him asking Mafuyu what's wrong, Ue-cchi is doing his best to be a better boyfriend and person for Mafuyu. Even tho he knows that Mafuyu isn't still completely moved on about Yuki's loss, he's waiting. Let's not forget about those facts.
I'm not really comparing Yuki to Ue-cchi because they're both different persons, and comparing them isn't what they deserve. They both deserve Mafuyu in a way that we wouldn't understand unless we're in their position. Yuki isn't a bad boyfriend either, they just lack communication and Mafuyu knows that is what he needs with Ue-cchi because we know that from the previous chapter (c. 38) he felt as if he's being secluded and left alone again. He knows they should communicate but I think he's just waiting for Ue-cchi to realized that. And Ue-cchi knows what Mafuyu feels (well, if it wasn't for Shizu).
But well this is getting long now, what I want to say is Mafuyu deserves self-love, he too deserves both Yuki and Uenoyama but what he needs is self-love. He's still blaming himself for Yuki's loss especially when something or someone triggers his memories with Yuki. And I don't think it's healthy to enter another relationship yet again if you can't love yourself and you can't learn how to let go. It is something that we should know.

I think this is where the resolution for the conflict starts. I always want to know what happened to his mom, and I think this is the time that we'll know. Also, can we talk about how Byul always seeks for Hyesung like how Hyesung seeks for his mom? I think it parallels each other. This arc will give us time to understand and witness how Hyesung will be relying on Dojin or he'll go through all of this pain alone. We'll witness how he handles the pain while secluding himself from everyone. We'll also see how will he cope up with it and how will he talk to his Mom. I also want to see how Dojin will handle the situation, reading the current chapter, it seems like Dojin is giving Hyesung the alone time that he wants but he also wants to get involve coz you know, they're paired and partners.
Also, the fact that Hyesung doesn't want Byul to get involved or affected by his pheromones and emotions, is something that his mother couldn't do when he was a child. His mother always shows him that she's weak and tired, causing him to feel unwanted and alone. I'm not saying that he's a bad mother but being open about your feeling (considering that she's abused by Hyesung's father) is valid but getting your child involved is a different story. Hyesung is a great mother to Byul, let's not forget that. All of his actions have reasons.

Maybe they’re like me. Right now I think Cain is 100% wayyy better than Yahwi and I think Cain genuinely likes Jooin too. I’m pretty much Team Cain and I don’t think I will EVER be Team Yahwi. But I’m worried he’s hiding something or that he’s gonna do something stupid. I want to be cautious just in case he pulls some nonesense.
