I'm a bit dissappointed in myself because the reason I started reading this story was because of all the comments trying to explain how this wasn't about incest. It made me wonder, "What in the actual hell could be going on in this story that's making people feel the need to clarify that their relationship isn't incest?" and out of curiosity I ended up reading it

I think the cut off midsentence was "Could he... be a dragon?" Cause right before that the MC was thinking about how the guy had closed himself off from everyone, that is, everyone except the MC. And we saw a few chapters ago that another dragon recluse approached the MC due to the fact that he's the key. Based on that, it seems the dragons all take an interest in the keys, plus this guy is from the 1st generation, meaning that in actuality he might have already been there before the 1st humans and no one except the other 1st generation humans would know.
