This was so sweet (literally lawlz) that it almost makes me forget how empty and unsatisfied I felt after Afurekata.
Ugggggh the uke is such a sweetheart. It always breaks my heart every time the seme acts like such a dickwad to him. I'm clearly an emotional masochist because I can't even count how many times I've reread this manga and I cry EVERY. FUCKING. TIME. Gahhhhh I just love this so much!!!
My favorite yaoi manga of all time and you give me a side story of how their life would be in a parallel universe? And even include several references to the main story... fuck. Here come the water works...
This has all the elements of a yaoi that any true fujoshi would die over. It's kinda/very cliche (especially the fact that it's pretty rape-y) but one can't help but love this one. My only true issue with this is that I didn't feel the ending was completely resolved and the uke's feelings seemed rushed. He just kinda dropped his feelings for his friend and then is instantly fine with the seme and just suddenly has feelings for him?
Not only because the development and tension was so refreshingly believable and realistic, but because of the fact that the couple seemed to live absolutely ordinary normal lives. Though many of their problems seemed small, they were still very real (especially problems gay couples may face) making this story so sweetly relatable overall.
