As much as this is so sad for Maxis side cause she want to go with Riftan, but I believe this is one of the beginning opportunity for her to gain experience in real life. She will greatly learn here the hardships of war and its reality as well as hone her skills as a true healer and a mage. She will also gain some friends along the way and experience the bravery of going against rules for she will do everything to sneak out of that monastery just to go to her husband in battle where she will be a hero but sadly miscarriage the baby. She did save a whole lot of lives for that tho. She will be the true hero of the Ethelene Castle Arc but yeah sad for the baby.
