Because people like toxic ml leads and helpless fl? We have a real wholesome dua here each with their own strengths. An actual plot. Where the og fl is not a villainous b*tch in disguise. So far this one is “too good to be true”.

The fl is a strong person who will resort to anything to protect her business which she is protecting for her nephew even if it affects her negatively. And the og fl will do anything to protect the fl even if it affects her negatively. That’s the most interesting dynamic. Both are willing to take steps for their goals and principles. It appears the enemy has already been dealt with in season 1 but I have a feeling that’s not true bec the og fl who is also a regressor is still moving in the shadows. It has a good plot. We haven’t seen a lot of the ml’s abilities but he was a renowned swordsman and he’s a big puppy for our fl. she has her own reasons to doubt his feelings and it’s actually a genuine concern not the usual “oh no he can’t love me” bs. Try a few chapters. I always wait for chapters for this. But it’s possible it’s not your thing? Try it at least.
I like it well enough but I think it has a lower rating because the pacing is kinda all over the place.
The characters also are a bit boring nowadays at times and the relationships don't have a lot of chemistry (including the side ones except for FL and ophelia).
I think the setting and storyline are interesting though
Personally I like the pacing because I am honestly tired of slow and dragged out story. It’s quick with this one. Like with was with tragedy of the villainess. And it ended timely as well so I hope this does too.
I won’t say much about the relationships though because they aren’t a priority to any of the female characters here which is another interesting point for me.
I agree with liking faster pacing, I just think this one kinda goes back and forth strangely pacing-wise if that makes sense so it kinda muddles the story for me
I also agree that the relationships shouldn't be the priority though it kinda seems like the author is hamfisting them in to be nowadays lololol
