It bugs me but her grandfather's way of showing love towards her seems so superficial apart from that one hug scene. He is genuine but fails to express real affection when she needs it throughout her childhood (esp when her mother was still alive).
I don't understand how the people he looked after, who were told to look after her in his stead, didn't like how she didnt appreciate and reciprocate his care when she literally has no idea what he has provided for her. Her grandfather's lack of interactions with her doesn't help, and it could be either party's fault, dunno. You can't just buy your way through love, yk?

FL had a 12 turning 13 year old fiance, supposedly when she was 22? (She mentioned 5 years in the palace.) Then decides to raise a child... who turns out isn't one but a demon older than her and is the ML yada yada, whatever.
You can argue that it's woke of me to judge but like damn, this combination raises some eyebrows when thinking about the author's preferences... I'm mostly all for age gaps so long as they're legal adults, but the premise (fiance part) literally could be anything else and it wouldnt change a thing lol? And she watched ML grow up... Granted it was only like half a year but yuck, not for me. Sick of these "not a groomer shes a late bloomer", sue me.

Why am I reading this here lol I have the actual physical books. Anyways, I remember reading the manga first, and then watching the anime and the sequel. Although the manga came later, and was an adaptation of the anime to promote it.
Believe me, I was sooo petty cause it was obvious the show favoured Fine, especially in the sequel. Tsk. They even had promotional art with sth like tarot cards? Showing Fine as the "Sun" and Rein as the "Star".
I was glad Rein has more screentime in the manga and is able to show off her personality more. At some point, she turned into like an accessory... not an equal, and her relationship with Bright was just.. not established? Def underdeveloped but it might just be my bias and my memory lol. It has been well over 10 years by now...

It's up to Chapter 34 atm. Its AI translation, so just read it if you're impatient and re-read the officials when it comes out ¯(⊙︿⊙)/¯

I am here to complete the cycle. Imagine watching a video in 4K HD, but now the website forces you to watch it in 720p. Are you going to mind the drop in quality? Maybe, but would you still watch it? It is up to the individual. Obviously, this is hyperbole but you kinda get the point.
It is hard to engage in any meaningful discussion about the story because firstly, this is a manhwa/webtoon where the art tells the story. When the art change is noticeable, it becomes distracting.
Anyways personally, I do slightly mind the change but it doesn't stop me from reading it. It is mainly from Ch. 18 do you first notice the shift in the weight of the line art, and recently the proportions of faces and etc. are kinda wack. It may go unnoticeable because of the weekly update, and that aside from the characters, the colouring and background look great.
Am I reading this illegally on an illegal website without paying? Am I entitled for pointing out the slight disturbance in the force? Yes, I'm a whole ass cunt and I don't care. I would support the artist and the studio if I could afford to, but I can't at the moment, and will when I can.

You've explained it perfectly. I also had a moment were I thought I was seeing things like I maybe I have been confusing it with some other manga's art or something.
It's also different on a site like this versus say a site that uses discus for comments on individual chapters. Usually what happens there is that someone would see the art has changed when it started to change make a comment on it and most comments would happen on the chapter where the art started change eventually people who see the change will probably talk about it for two or three more chapters and then make it a new normal unless the art is incredibly ugly but those people will also drop it if it's got in that bad. On the other hand the comment system here makes it so that commenters no matter when they read the chapters where the art has changed will be put to the front of the line since they have no way of commenting on a specific chapter Even if there are few weeks behind other people noticing the art change.

So wouldn't you think since you CAN'T support artist and author at the moment you would ATLEAST support them words of encouragement wise? And being proud of being entitled is not a good thing honey and the fact that you don't care also isn't a good thing and something you probably shouldn't be proud of ^^

You've completely missed my point mate... and this was from a time where the art was at a low point compared to now. I am just pointing out that it was understandable that people would comment on the art when theres a significant shift.
I am just acknowledging that I am being extremely entitled as I am reading this for free (also would not be any less entitled if I did pay lol). The official Manta translations has not caught up with the unofficial, and there is no point in buying them until they've caught up. This is why I prefer supporting the author by buying their merch instead. They released some last month and I bought them.
I admit I should support them with words of encouragement, but I'd rather not use sns. I'll support them with my wallet instead.

"Why the fuck are you sad? Stop being sad!!" - kind of attitude. The teacher has good intentions but goes about it in the worst way, especially when you show preferable treatment to another student right in front of him. Even Lanziee (white haired kid) could point out that he shouldn't mess with him too much. Although, to me, he went a bit too far because we've seen what Boris went through and can sympathise with him.
If he'd known Boris's history with his sword and what he has been through, he wouldn't have just stolen his sword. That's why as a teacher, you should probably get your student to open up to you and know more about them, and then you fix their mentality - once they're past the grieving stage. If he doesn't apologise for his robbery in the future, I would have the pettiest problem with him. Ironically, the nicest he's been to him was the first time they met.
This is why when asian kids grow up, they may appreciate their parents' intentions of strict parenting (plus hitting their kids lol) but still disagree with how they went about it.
Hear me out guys.. is the grandpa single?
He's still in love with his late wife.
