What happened was Yi Yun as supposed to give his sperm to a woman so she could carry the baby for money but Jinyao switched his sperm with his own so RouRou is technically Jinyao's kid but has veen raised by Yi Yun so Yi Yun is sort of like an adoptive father that didnt adopt RouRou
It happened somewhere between 15 chapters ago I think and it's because they switched it on purpose or some shit but didn't get rid of yi yis specimen and didn't make it a baby. Yi yi got some of brown hairs hair and tested rou rou and him have a 99.9 match. Though honestly hair would never work unless you get the root and all because dna isn't in hair strands, it's in the follicle and skin at the bottom of the strand.
