to this story for me would be that they have an amicable break up. No regrets. No hard feelings and maybe in a years time, the FL dates and eventually marries her boss or heck...any other guy closer to her age will do. Same with ML. Only glue holding this relationship together right now is the sex. I understand. She was on a 4 year dry spell!! But even back breaking sex gets old fast when there's no intellectual stimulus added to the mix and plus as of now, he can't even appease her innate need for security which manifests itself differently in every woman. NOT just the we "want" financial support assumption. AND all this is said on real life experiences PERIODTT!!!
While I disagree with the age gap being an issue I do agree with everything else you're saying this relationship is a dumpster fire
the novel because of all the recommendations from the lovelies here and it's so good. I'm on Ch 168. But I'm really enjoying seeing the faces of the characters brought to "life" in this comic. I can't wait to see The Windmaster in his male form (lol) and of course Banyue. But what's so funny is that the men are drawn so beautifully, that the female characters can't really compare
Please keep in mind that these Author's have editors who will often force them to revise their stories and also characters personalities and purposes. While as readers and writers also, we get emotionally involved with our special characters...the end game to a publisher is soley about the money and what sells. This is a general statement, but it REALLY upsets me when people can't see the difference between fiction and reality and send these wonderful hardworking artists death threats because the story isn't going the way we want it to. People need to chill....

hidden gem while on another webtoon site and was surprised to see that I already had it marked as wanting to read on this site. This story was soooo good. The last time I felt like this after binge reading a webtoon was when I read Annarasumanara. It's like the ending was happy, yet left me wanting..no needing so much more since Jack didn't fully regain his memories.
