So, from the comment here and there, this manga is actually a SPIN-OFF of some other work of this author, whose actual name is ASOU KAI instead of ASO KAI. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
so i researched a bit and i think the main story is Sorenari ni Shinken nandesu, a yaoi story. (nothing desrespectful, it's just that i don't want to worsen my addiction to manga adding another genere on the reading list (￣∇￣"))
can a good hearted diehard yaoi fan of the author explain the details that we poor lost soul have missed in this ? is this actually relevant in the general plot?

That one is not very relevant to this one's plot. It actually took me some time to realize they were related until I read the chef part and that they were both man and I was like "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah" even thought that is one of my favorite yaois.
The plot is basically of the character we saw here and he goes to a restaurant were he frequently flirts with n employee who is a single father who got full custody after the divorce even thoight he is struggling financially, his wife got tired of him basically. So shizu, his daughter gets sick and he needs help so he goes to the house of the guy because is closer to the restaurant and I don't remember what happened then but they start living together because is convinient. BUT then the ex wife appears ad says that she want Shizu back because she is getting remarried and it'll be good for Shizu to have a "normal" family. So my man goes up there and he grabs his man hand and says that they are together and they both would raise her well, and the ex and her future husband are like "WUT?" but then they leave accepting it. And then just happy memories.
You don't need to read it but I totally recommend it!
