The Tarans have a unique magical bloodline (basically blessed as a perfect being physically and mentally), the side effect is that they have to let the "excess energy" out either through killing or sex (this is why he had a lot of ex lovers and when he married in the past timeline -since he's loyal to his marriage vows to not take another woman aside from his wife, even if he doesn't love his wife, he killed barbarians most of the time instead). Iirc, Hue forgot about such desires because he fell in love with Vivian/Lucia
She was the one dumped by Hue in the early chapters, in the garden, 1st time Vivian talked with him.
