Chang mightve fucked up but damn you can really see that he lives yeonwoo. Might have not shown it in the best way possible but all his actions were because he loved yeonwoo. I really hope he changes for the better if they end up together no complaints from me but we all know ed and mcqueen are end game ://

That class rep is srsly fucking annoying. Hes no importance to the story whatsoever aside from showing off James skills and introducing long hair guy. He rlly needs to die asap acting all cocky and shit

A big role doesnt mean importance. And like i said hes there just to Show off james’ flaws and skills james’ master only appeared once or twice in the entire story but hes already as important as headmaster in terms of plot

V similar to Stalking Killing bu WAY LESS hardcore. Its very straightforward I guess the plot is basically taken advantage -> wants revenge -> denial ->? Probably tragedy

    peachrot April 17, 2019 12:42 pm

It's similar to Killing Stalking because it's dark themes. But beyond that, I don't think it's very similar.

You dont think so? I mean i guess everyone has their own perspective but both have the same beginning. They both get confined in one place and one loves the other. The major difference between these two is the depth of stories. Warehouse is very linear whilst SK is a roller coaster. They even have similar endings. The kidnapped “falls” in love.

Hmm, I don't know if I agree about Warehouse being linear or simple. Warehouse had an ongoing mystery of what happened in their past which was pretty twisty (it makes you feel sympathy for Sungho at first, and then shows you the other side which gives more sympathy to Dohyun). And the character of Dohyun imo has more depth than Bum. Bum was mostly pathetic and weak-willed but Dohyun has kept scheming and trying to escape. He's really strong and it's taken a lot to break him.

I think the major difference (apart from the murder stuff) is that Warehouse is much more claustrophobic and focused almost entirely on two characters, whereas Killing Stalking has involved the wider world a lot more with Seungbae and other minor characters.

Exactly thats why its more complex. I say warehouse is linear because its plot was more or less predictable after a few chapters. It showed the pov of 2 people with a straightforward plot which is obsessed + revenge. Meanwhile SK was way more complex it delved deeper into the brains of the characters and actually focused on bum having stockholm syndrome and san being so mentally broken hes a psychopath. Warehouse is neither of those. Sungho wanted revenge bc of what dohyun did to him and Dohyun realizes that he has feelings for Sungho and viceversa.

I don't know. How is Warehouse's plot exploring what really happened between Sungho and Dohyun in high school less complex than the plot exploring Sangwoo's past with his mother?
Dohyun has also been mentally broken in the most recent chapters and it goes into his psychology with not being able to trust people and manipulating Sungho because he needed him to be devoted to him.
Sungho initially wanted revenge but it's shown that it's not that clear that Dohyun did something terrible--it's debatable how bad it was and how much of it was Sungho being unhealthily obsessed with Dohyun in high school. And it's changed now and he doesn't want revenge anymore.

And I think the whole thing with Dohyun realising he has feelings for Sungho isn't as simple as you're making it out to be. Dohyun hasn't fallen in love with his rapist. He's fallen into delusion and pretending he's back with high school Sungho who he did like and probably repressing memories of what Sungho did to him in the warehouse.

I'm gonna have to disagree with this, fam. Warehouse focused on the 2 MCs just as well as KS. Going into their past, showing what made them spiral into who they are. I think with Warehouse it's slower paced than KS and they do more "show don't tell" in terms of presenting things.

I can argue KS is simple. Sangwoo and Bum's relationship is stereotypical and nothing special. There's tons of BL where a guy 'falls in love' with their abuser/rapist, where the abuser treats their victim like shit and the victim just takes it because he 'likes' the abuser.

As for focusing on mental illnesses, from the get go, it's shown Sungho is mentally unstable. Though I guess it's not as obvious as Sangwoo because he's not out killing people. I can't diagnose Sungho with a mental illness as I'm not a professional, but there was something off about Sungho even in highschool and when he became involved with Dohyun, it worsened. It worsened to the point where after breaking it off with Dohyun, he had a break down and tried to commit suicide. That's heavy stuff. I think you're trivializing the story.

Anyways that's just my 2 cents. I'm not very good with explaining my thoughts but I tried.

HOLY FRICK. This story is so intense. If you dont think its good youre probably too shallow to understand it. This is an in-depth perspective of a psychopath. Im telling you, for it to be this detailed you need an amazing amount of knowledge to understand. This work shows insanity and mental illnesses PERFECTLY. From schizophrenia, bipolar, ptsd etc its all here. This story might not be your ideal romance but this work is one of the best in portraying the limits of human mentality.

Honestly a good plot gone to waste. Characters are so stupid especially siwon the author made him have zero common sense and zero iq. Dont recommend.

Such a cliche story nonetheless very good art and plot.
