this is way better than what the comments are saying! sure, it’s unrealistic for how many experiences he’s getting + being able to operate despite being a high schooler, but you also have to remember HE HAS A GHOST DOCTOR???
this is literally meant to be unrealistic and all supernatural... of course mc’s gonna be getting into a lot of shit because that’s the plot guys
tl;dr this is actually really decent, art is good and not awful at all, and plot is nice.
definitely recommend if you are looking for some medical stuff to reas!!! just don’t take it super seriously (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
hey so for some reason they didn’t share the last chapter, which is when they are adults
dunno where to find it but i’ll just explain it simply so SPOILERS AHEAD
they all meet up at a restaurant or something and they all drink (this is university or after i forgot)
mana, while tipsy, reveals aya’s mind reading secret (kinda? like she didn’t say SHE HAS MIND READING POWERS but it was similar). that’s when aya freezes up and everyone looks confused, especially hayato.
turns out she hasn’t revealed it all ALL lol
then it ends with a implication that hayato knows now because aya is awful at lying and didn’t say no to the claim
but tl;dr happy ending, hayatos not mad and they all live happily ever after :)
anyone know any manga/manhwa where the mc is dying (for real or like mc here, i prefer the latter) and everyone is worried and sad even tho mc is actually ok?? lmao i just like seeing everyone’s expression (☆▽☆)
Wait I think I knew another manhwa that has the same concept as this one whereas she's diagnosed with some sort of brain cancer and will die in 6 months (but its actually is a misdiagnosed and she had no cancer whatsoever) and then she decides to spend her last moment looking for a specific unique flower in a desert and met this one man and they fell in love and later she tells him about her condition (damn his expression is price less too) then you know the drill but its not fantasy like this one and the art is superb too ml is a hottieლ(´ڡ`ლ) BTW its called 'Give me a flower and I'll give you all of me'
god this manga never fails to make my heart sting
it’s a very “my pace” type manga, where there isn’t any actual clear direction, just like life is. this manga is about life and that’s it. high schoolers figuring out lives and the troubles that come along with it. obviously i’m simplifying it a lot but that’s how i see it
i was overjoyed to see that taichi had chosen touma, even if we didn’t get to see touma at the end. people need to remember that this is a SHOUNEN manga, so even seeing anything remotely close to lgbtq+ is rare, even more so an ending where they actually end up together.
i do wish the author could have cleared more stuff up at the end, but it’s alright. i’m a little disappointed masumi did not end up with a girl, but i feel like her husband is implied to also be lgbtq+ (i personally think maybe ftm with how he was acting).
i’m glad futaba and the rest found their happiness. this manga is so beautiful and well told. i just can’t get over how taichi and touma really ended up together!!!
this is my sixth time rereading this probably. i love how the author incorporated so many different types of people and personalities, different struggles and viewpoints of others; it really feels a lot more real with how they dealt with the issues of being gay and what’s up with boys and girls and friendship.
art style was downright beautiful as well. especially the more “realistic” detailed drawings for more serious scenes, like that one of taichi’s side profile in toumas house? everyone was so amazing as a character even with all their flaws and insecurities.
i hope to see more manga from this author and more types of stories like these !!
hey so i read the chinese raws (read is a subjective term here) so here’s some spoilers
(i know another person has commented but i wanted to add on)
ritsu was invited to itsuki’s house after it started raining and they forgot about the photograph and signed ball in their room. ritsu saw it, got upset and questioned why itsuki had that stuff. he stormed out of the house and itsuki was left wondering if they should tell ritsu.
fast forward to the tournament, itsuki decided to go tell him that they were itsuki but got stopped by maya (who we all hate) saying some selfish stuff and being overal annoying and manipulative.
with the support of maya’s brother (redhead), itsuki charged in and finally said that they were itsuki (hallelujah). this was like chapter 52 or smth like that
also for everyone wonder, no, maya doesn’t get a character development and she’s still annoying as hell.
so basically itsuki explained what happened and ritsu accepts it and they start flirting/dating. itsuki is pretty shy in all of the following chapters but gets more comfortable at the end.
and no, itsuki doesn’t magically become a guy again as much as we all want them to. still in a female body. i don’t think it was ever explained why it happened.
it’s an overall happy ending although i personally am not really satisfied with it. its homophobic that itsuki “had” to be a “girl” and couldn’t stay a guy or turn back into a guy. (obviously a joke lol i’m lgbtq+ and anything i dislike i just call homophobic as a joke pls ( ̄ε(# ̄)Σ )
just an extra note, i think the next chapter is about maya’s brother and how he injured his wrist so badly that he (probably) can’t play baseball anymore. idk if this was mentioned before but i’m pretty sure he’s unable to pitch and throw.
that’s about all the important stuff! hope this helps (●'◡'●)ノ
okay this is purely speculation but i’ve read enough romance fantasy isekais to kind of get a grasp.
side note: idk if this has a novel or anything but i swear i don’t know anything about spoilers
i’m assuming that ML and MC are the reincarnations of the “founding king” and his lover. he gave his lover a hyacinth and changed the meaning from victory to undying love which would make senses why ML still feels familiar with her and likes her “scent” despite not having an actually history with MC in the current time. the undying love really IS undying love, and somehow ML’s feelings are just that strong, while MC is completely unaware so far. it’s played off as misunderstanding the situation and thinking she’s his secret wife that is of commoner status, but that doesn’t explain why ML has those feelings for her (of course besides the fact that she’s taken care of him).
just a theory!! looking forward to read more of this because i’m in loveeee with the MC and ML’s dynamic. please recommend me some more that are similar to this!!!!! ヾ(☆▽☆)
that's an interesting theory! I just assumed he liked her scent and gravitated towards her because she cancels out his curse and stabilizes him. but I also find it strange because technically, wouldn't the curse actually force him to be repelled by her?surely the curse doesn't want him staying close to her
yes definitely i think her cancelling out his curse is a big part of it but it’s also something to ask: why does her power cancel out his when she’s merely an “extra?” obviously we know she’s probably not an extra but if ML is the main villain with some incurable painful curse, then MC has to be someone important too.
i feel like the curse was some side effect of the founding king losing his lover or vice versa (hence the name “the void” because it keeps taking and taking until it’s touched by MC), which is why the curse doesn’t repel MC. i think it craves her energy and power because they were made for one another.
