Exactly!! Staying for the romance factor means youre practically missing the whole point of the manhwa. This is an action genre and you will never be capable of finding the story interesting if the only thing you enjoy is the gay ship aspect.

I mean ChiYoung has to hold back a lot. Like, he wanted to do him a lot but had to wait. He even didn't convert to Wolf form to not scare off HeeSung. Or is he the typical controlling type?

Their first time is def unconsensual and kinda an unfortunate situation for both parties as ML doesn't actually really remember their first time because he went into pheromone shock meaning he looses consciousness and doesn't have control of his body (still didn't need to be written the way that it was as it's throws the flow of the novel off and I feel it's not consistent with other times ML goes into pheromone shock around MC). Other than that scene though, ML never does anything against MC's will. It's truely a beautiful and cute novel of healing and both individual and relationship growth and it's a short read that I would recommend to everyone. So, don't worry, ML is very green forest within the novel.

It was non-con in the novel, heavily dub-con at best.

MC had to practically force himself to agree this is the only way to calm him down and was very clearly not in love with ML at that point (in heavy denial at best which still doesn't equal consent). He was against sex, and he only agreed to suck him off because he hoped that's all it took to calm him down.

Almost the whole scene consisted of him thinking about how bad it feels and how much it hurts and wants it to be over. It doesn't matter why it happened. The dumb af pheromone shock idea was just an excuse for the author to write a rape scene, that's nothing new.

You're right, but I think a better term for what I meant was dubious rather than non-con. So, still, my point stands. While I agree that MC did enjoy it and initiated the bj, the way it's written really makes it feel very dubious and uncomfortable, at the very least, in the beginning.
