Ok here is my theory about Hwan. In the scene where Chiwoo was supposed to move Hwan was very sad and said that he wishes that Chiwoo would live with him. What if Hwan made a wish as a child that Chiwoo and him can live together and that caused the bridge to collapse and kill Chiwoos parents. He also is indirectly responsible for the car accident that Chiwoos uncle got killed in so that he would have no relatives that he could live with. I don't believe it was his intention to kill Chiwoos whole family but he indirectly is responsible for it because of his wish...

And they are both bisexual/pansexual icons, but the crown prince(ess) struggles with her identity, because she will have to pretend to be a man all her life and will never be able to fully embrace her feminine side. And it's them against the rest of the world, a power couple is born that goes against the norms and conventions and everything that is considered "normal" at that time...

I'm so fucking pissed at everyone. I really hope there is character development for all the characters, the blatant misogyny pretty much every single one of them shows is so annoying. Why do girls have to fight other girls for boys attention?!! I want to see women supporting women especially because they all know much it sucks being female in a male dominated field. You can feel that men don't see her as equal and are surprised that she's strong even though she is pretty?!!!? Sadly the story is pretty realistic in the regard how woman are treated in male dominated industries... It still makes me mad tho
