i like this artist but im afraid this one missed the mark for me by a lot (=・ω・=)
i KNOW its just fantasy and its fictional and blah blah blah but im still gonna list what it is that irked me about this. because i can (づ￣ ³￣)づ
1. the constant comparison of son and mother even in sexual situations . it is borderline incestuous the way the son kept thinking that he’s similar to his mother during sex because they share the same taste in men
2. the fact that mc kept calling the ml dad. not even daddy or some kinky shit , just Dad. why?? the pleasure is derived from calling him STEP DAD???? you get the point.
3. the fact that mc wanted to wear his old highschool uniform in an attempt to turn on his lover whos like 10-15 years older than him. idk. personally i can’t look at a grubby highschooler in their uniform and think “wow thats sexy”
4. the strange gap between the ml fearing mc and suddenly them living together? and in love? odd pacing but the least of my concerns LMFAO

rashta is one of the most well written antagonists in this genre
i lowkey used to hate her so much but shes such a tragic character ;;;; she is a result of her traumas
so., what the king said about loving yurigel even if he wasnt yurigel.. coupled with the fact that the magic circle was intended to make great magicians. but was later used to conceive the prince.
leads me to believe that yurigel is trying to make a new vessel for his soul.. a great magician vessel. if his soul was a great magicians soul but his current body wasnt, that would explain how he seems to know everything. it would also explain why hes so frail and ill. i think his body cant handle his soul. it also checks out since he comes from a lineage of great magicians
yurigel wouldnt want ciel to uncover everything about that magic circle because it would risk foiling his plans.
i also believe that there is some kind of spell or perhaps the original plots influence that forces events to occur. that scene with caesar made me think so. if it was a spell that brainwashes everyone to love yurigel and move according to his wishes, it would make sense why everyone loves him. this is what seems the most logical and makes sense to me.
also ash is really weird lol. her logic makes me think so hard. i think her priorities are quite off but maybe the author did that on purpose.
that last chapter… we did NOT have to see him getting rawdogged as his younger siblings were struggling
