had to pause at chap 32…

i don’t think the author knows how to write dark romance. both mc and ml do things that are like the opposite of their intentions. it drags on in the span of 30 chaps and i haven’t even gotten halfway thru… i’ll try to push through and update after getting caught up

what can i say… the female lead is hrm… really dense? it feels like she’s focused on the wrong thing and is just wasting time. somehow the male lead has more charm than she does… mc has so much at her arsenal she could smartly use but manages to miss everything. this story is so unserious

edit: somehow??? everything seems to get back on track after chap 25-ish? feels like the writing changed then. sylvester’s side dealings get glossed over and all of the side characters just pop up here and then. ophelia gets bolder and more confident, yea. but like, her past life goals aren’t really touched on again.

wa-wait… no villainess, cheating husband, horrible familial betrayal, incompetent mc past life, tyrant male lead, reincarnation, rewinding time, or absurd cheat skill? there’s actually decent writing? BOOKED.
