I do get that it's your opinion, and you're allowed to think what you want, but I just wanna comment on this-

I could understand the concept of them having a relationship that isn't too dysfunctional if their feelings had been mutual from the start, and there hadn't been any rape instances at all. But now that that border has been crossed, and the older brother has been raped against his will, and he feels that he has no way out and that he's trapped like a bird in a cage... There is literally no way they can recover from that. They can't just suddenly 'develop' a healthy relationship, there's no way someone can legitimately be "happy" with the person that raped them repeatedly against their will, and is also using manipulative tactics to sort of mold the uke into a doll that doesn't fight back because he feels powerless to do so. ;;

How is repeatedly raped a deterrent to falling in love in a Yaoi manga?
Okane ga Nai, Viewfinder, all the most beloved yaoi mangas are stockholm syndromers. Not only the rapists rape and the victim love the rapist, they pretty much will put themselves in harms way to save their rapists if need be.

Just becoz you want the senpai and mc to have a happily ever after doesn't mean you can dismiss the younger brother as oh rapist no happy ending for you. In fact in Yaoi manga the rapist pretty much is guaranteed to live happily ever after with his victim.

Then, the big bro is unwilling? There's a word for it in Yaoi manga too: Tsundere.

this is definitely not story like that. it's clearly shown as rape unlike in mangas you've mentioned (where the rape is romanticized)
uke is obviously suffering, he's depressed, hates seme and doesn't see the way out of his problems, which puts him in a worse state, and he's definitely not a tsundere.
if he ends up with younger brother it would be because he's simply given up on everything, and a tag "mind break" will be appropriate then.

I never said I wanted the mc and Senpai to be together. Please, please don't stuff words in my mouth. I, honestly, prefer that the mc gets mental help, is loved by someone who doesn't abandon him (unlike shit Senpai did-) and that the younger brother is sent to jail.

Also, you're basically stating that because rape is a common trope in yaoi, and that because it's also another trope for the person who is raped to fall in love with their rapist, that it is valid in EACH and EVERY yaoi manga? No. It is not. In fact, I'd rather rape not be a thing in any yaoi manga, but that's just not going to happen.

The older brother is not a tsundere. It is very clearly shown, in every single chapter of this manga, that he is being manipulated, like a string around the younger brother's finger. And it is also clearly shown that he does not want to be in this sort of relationship with his younger brother, and thus he is /unwilling/.

I'm not saying that the mangaka won't decide to make the two of them have a "cliched, over-done happy ending", but my point was that no matter what context the mangaka /tries/ to fit a happy ending into, there can be no legitimate happiness between the younger and older brother. The facade of it all might be that they 'appear' blissful and 'in love', but it's a dark manga. Obviously, behind the scenes, that kind of forced relationship isn't existent; because it is simply far too broken and dysfunctional to be much of anything else.

If you have seen the raws, and somehow have come to the conclusion that he /enjoys/ being raped, then so be it. That can be your opinion. But I most definitely would not state it as a fact, because by the looks of it, the main character is in excruciating agony.

Then this clearly isn't the manga for you. It obviously potrays rape as in real life not as how many of the mangas you have mentioned does.

Why don't you go back and read it once again because it's clearly visible from the begining that Haruki has no life in his eyes. He has just given up to his circumstances. This is not being dramatic or being a tsundere. This is him being in the absolute lows of his life ever.

And plz oh plz don't say he loves every minute of it. It may have been true in Okane ga nai or Viewfinder but that definitely is not the case over here.

As long as author keeps drawing detailed Hikaru/Haruki I'll stick around. Ship is sailing (even if Haruki must be dragged on it..tsk stubborn..) and hopefully senpai marries a woman so he can stay out of the way.
