He's actually changed quite a bit in the previous chapters leading up to this current chapter. Sure he is still an ass and a tsundere but he is not as tencious and a bully compared to the past. He is more willing to have sex with Morinaga now and enjoy it openly compared to the beginning chapters where Morinaga would have to beg, get beat up by Sempai and later dominate him in order to have sex with him. There are many examples besides this shown in the past chapters that support that Sempai has changed quite a bit and that says a lot about him accepting their relationship and supporting Morinaga in the best way he knows how! And that also includes supporting him with his usual tsundere behaviour. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
