I agree with most of this but I genuinely like the ML. You say he’s an asshole but I don’t really see him acting like that. He mainly jokes around and flirts with the MC and he has treated him well so far. I haven’t seen him harm the MC or not take his feelings into consideration.

In reading the raws as you would see, Minwoo is definitely the worse ML because 1) he’s smelling the MC’s pheromones without his consent, 2) he kissed the MC in his sleep again without his consent, 3) attempted to force a claim bite onto him without his consent and because he wanted to stop him from getting close to the other ML and 4) attempts to control the MC all the time by stalking his relationship with the main ML and interfering with it and making the ML do things to only suit him.

The main ML was a player but ever since he and Joohyun started regularly sleeping together, he stopped sleeping around with others. After sex, he takes care of Joohyun regularly, as you will see in the raw, he came inside the MC on his heat cycle but when he realized, he took some of the cum out with his fingers and bathed him and then gave him a contraceptive pill to take the day after. His attitude is mostly playful and teasing so I don’t see him being a bad person/partner. So far in the raws, I guess the only thing I see him being aggressive because of his jealousy towards Minwoo. For example their last sex scene before the flashback, he was upset with how much Joohyun was talking about sharing interests with Minwoo and liking the same things as Minwoo.

He literally disrespected and disregarded the MC’s feelings. The Mc said “no” a lot of times but that batshit straight up ignored Mc’s word. Please read the manhwa again before saying anything like “not take his feelings into consideration” and “not harming the mc.”

The first time is when they just got to know each other so of course there will be a lot of resistance but if he’s an asshole to you no problem, keep your opinion.

Thanks for your reply, I’ve read the whole thing including the raw and I haven’t seen him physically harm the MC or anything and the MC keeps coming back for more sex even if you claim he’s resisting all the time. He literally said in his inner thoughts, he knows he shouldn’t come every time the ML calls him but he does it anyway. If you think he’s an asshole and he ignores the MC’s feelings and disrespects him that’s your opinion and you can stand by it. I just see him being playful and teasing the MC but hey, if you don’t like the manga it’s no problem and if you do then that’s great. I’ll enjoy it for myself and you can enjoy it for yourself. Overall, reading the manga and the raws, you will see that Minwoo is worse than the ML in various ways and comparing with other MLs, this ML is not among the worst ones.

Nobody is telling you you can’t enjoy or continue reading the story, just to be a little critical about what you read and it’s pretty simple to figure out ml is not a good person. Not that I don’t hope for them to end up together or that I think they’re whole relationship sucks, he can improve as a character. Recognizing that a character is bad in a story does not mean we hate the whole story or the author. That’s called media literacy, we are allowed to analyze the pieces of media we consume.

nah you right some people just pressed. comparing your child to other children and being overly strict isn't good parenting but some people just don't realize that hyesung's intentions weren't to hurt him. he wanted byul to learn faster so he's not behind other kids and won't be judged for his intelligence. people forget or choose to ignore the fact that hyesung grew up in an environment constantly being judged academically to the point where he never finished school because of it. as byul's parent, of course he wouldn't want byul to grow up like him (●￣(ｴ)￣●)

I haven't read this one yet, but I read the main story this spinoff came from. Hyesung was definitely one of the characters I didn't like, always blaming others for his circumstance and never wanting to be responsible for his own actions (or lackthereof).
I really liked Dojin on the main story, and he's the reason why I'm gonna read this story, hopefully Hyesung here is a bit better.

samme i came from the first story and hated him. i hated him at the beginning of this spinoff too and he's still my least favorite character but he does progress a little in this story. he's a little more bearable and now i'm even defending him too like bruh

Yes I’m not a fan of dojin when I reread this I skip to chapter 19 or 20 to skip all the unconventional sex like i usually am okay with rape like I don’t get all mad because I know it’s not real and it’s a story but this story makes me hate it so much and like he was trying to force hyesung to become his and just ughh I hope he has a pianful death for all of that but like I like him a tiny bit know but still he doesn’t really try to look at hyesung prospective and I hate it. He needs to learn that hyesung wasn’t raised like him and that he’s scared for people to see him married and having a kid at 22 my mom had me at 19 and she could not get things that married older people got like I never went to a daycare or anything because they think that young moms are gross and nasty

Yeah, it took a long time but I think I'm "OK" with Hyesung now. He was still very annoying in the spinoff, still using everyone else as an excuse for everything in his life and stuff. But yeah he's done a lot of character development and he's grown on me a bit :)
