Honestly, I kinda rather him be with the alpha than his shitty abusive family. At the very least, I think the alpah would take care and cherish him, even if that means he is being abducted. I just can't stand that they don't even treat him like a human being and just use him as a way to keep the youngest boy under somewhat control and they feel like they own him.

Now, hear me out before u juge me :
*before reading, know that it may contain spoilers if you did not catch up with the story, so Its at your own risk and perils at this point, lol*
At first, I pitied him, bc, I had the feeling he liked fl bc she was different, cold and distant, cuz if she had been friendly and had a different social status like at least middle class, I personally don't think he would have been so into her, while with our ml (which is husband material so far, lol) U have the feeling that no matter how she would have turned out, friendly or other, If they had ended up spending time togheter in that warehouse, he would still had fallen for her. 2nd ml has been sheltered so much by his mom, who litteraly treats him like a puppet for his "own good" is kind of ignorant of the outside world and people who really struggle in his teenage years, and I really pitied him for that ( too much love kills the love)
But the fact that he has been so obsessed over fl who just never had a thing for him just turned him into someone toxic, for himself and ppl around him, which is a shame cuz he let himseld get to this point. At that point I started to dislike him but still held some hope.
However, as soon as he started using physical strengh and verbally insult fl, that was it, he went to far for me and I litteraly kind of hate him now.
I have the feeling that if he chosen to walk away, from her, from his toxic mom, he could still be saved from himself and others, but, we all know it would not be fun for the plot if he did that, and, ultimatly, we can all see him running straight to his downfall at this point, which, once more is a pity, cuz, deep down, I like him and know he could be so much better, he could do so much better.
That is why, it is a shame to me.
End of my endless monologue, feel free to share your toughts(づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

I never had any respect for him to begin with. He never respected our girlys boundaries as a teen and he continued to put his wants first before fl. I know she also used him as a means of getting out of her bad situation but even than she did have lines she did put some boundaries. He just kept chosing to ignore them.

The art is nice and so is the story and characters. The only reason why I wouldn't give it a 5 stars is the messy timeline. Thrre is no order, no explanation, its just damn everywhere, you don't know when there is a time jump or when its going to stay in the present. Exept for this tiny problem, the story is really good.
Idc, juge me all ya'll want. I pity Eclis. Bro got manipulated by both girls. First, she used him for her survival, trying to raise favorability not by being herself but by trying to match what he wanted, which twisted him. Then, (poison)Yvonne is manipulating him all over again when she already made a mess of him. Don't go saying that FL is the victim, when Eclis is also a victim in this situation... shure, what he did was wrong, and she felt betrayed, and this has broken their bond for good ( I'm kinda sad cuz I really liked him) but to me, he was like a blank paper that was twisted into becoming what he now is, which is sad.
Just giving my opinion too so I'm not judging you i swear
It makes sense that you'd think that, but Eclis is actually a pretty smart guy. He knew from the start that Pen was using him—but he didn’t care, because at least it meant he had her attention.
Yeah, I do feel bad for him. Things might have been different if he wasn’t just seen as a tool or a toy. But that was never really an option—he was already a slave when Pen found him.
He’s always had that unhinged side, ever since his kingdom fell. Even from the first moment Pen met him, it was there. He knew she needed him, so he pretended to be loyal just long enough to get close enough to kill her. But somewhere along the way, he fell in love and eventually stopped his plan.
To be fair, Pen did try to give him some freedom. She never used his collar, never forced him to do anything brutal, and even let him go to help his homeland. And in the end he still betrayed her.
This isn’t me disagreeing with your opinion—I just wanted to share how I personally saw Eclis. It’s actually really cool to see different perspectives, and I totally get why you see it the way you doヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
Same all I wanted for him was to live a peaceful life after some therapy. Everyone saying Eclis to just die or blaming him solely makes me so sad. Penelope had her fair share and so did Eclis but why does Penelope get all the pitying while Eclis is told to die. If my kingdom falls down overnight and I turn into a slave, I will too look for even a slightest amount of affection and hold onto it and yvonne comes brainwashes him making this situation worse.
Hmm I get your pov. It's true that he always had that small side of him that looked kinda dark, but I really believe that the way Pen treated him, as a tool, was what shamed him and in the end tragged him towards the road of his downfall. I just wish he could meet someone that would heal him, cuz he is just so broken and messed up now...
I was soooooo rooting for him (/TДT)/ this situation just broke my heart.
PS : sorry for my grammar mistakes ( ̄ε(# ̄)Σ
EXACTLY OMG GIRL FINALLY
I was rooting for his peace like Pen can go with crown prince and he could meet a good one or stay single but peaceful
True, I feel like if he had the right people around him and the chance to grow in a safe environment, he could’ve become a truly unique and special character. He had the presence of someone who could’ve been a great king to his homeland, and I genuinely loved his character—it brought such depth and potential. I hope that, in some other life, he got the chance to be with his homeland and fulfill what he was meant for ╥﹏╥
Righttttt it was a ruined potential character for the plot
